I had my SE c510 for 1 week now and I must say I am very satisfied with it. Everything works perfectly. Seriously no problem at all. Very good features, battery life lasts for 3-4 days, moderate usage.
Software issues with this handset constanly freezing have swapped it three time no click sound for msg as on previous sonys option is there but no tone.

The K850 would go 4 days easily, the C510 just about 2 with the same usage, the same low backlight setting, and 3G turned off. Really disappointing, maybe you'll have better perfomance from yours, good luck anyway and let us know how you get on.

All reviews (by phonearena/cnet/mobile-reviews)about this phone says it's got a very good battery performance. But posted opinions here say otherwise. I've pointed in my earlier post that c510 got only 920 mah battery compared to other phones' 950 mah like g502 that has lesser features (no auto-rotate and no flash). But posters told me not to worry. The thing is, i've already sold my g502 (after 4 months of use):-( Bad decision, i guess. I have no choice but to buy this one (no samsung or nokia interests me at this moment). Definitely my last Sony Ericsson phone if the battery sucks that bad. I'll give this phone 3 months. I'll just post here after i got this phone. If only gsmarena have reviewed this phone.... :-)

I found a very good review for c510 at mobile-review.com. Very helpful.

Help guys! I'm planning to buy c510 tomorrow, but still not 100% decided if i should go for this one. I've have doubts about it's battery performance. Do you have to charge it everyday after a moderate use (around 4 hours of music playback and few minutes of calls and some texting). And about the build quality (black c510), no paints flaking/fading/peeling, things like that? Would really appreciate your response guys. Thanks

Infrasmellaloo, 16 Jun 2009my c510's battery lasts for 3 days with moderated use. 3G turned off and 50% backlight setting.I've got 3G turned off and backlight at 60% but just about makes the 2 days. thing is its the same battery as the K850 (BST38) but theres something draining it faster. I've swapped the batteries around so its not the supplied battery thats the prob.

Hey guys if you also got or have tried using g502, how's the sound(backspeaker)and the display if we compare it with c510? thanks
Does this phone have the following features/add-ons:
- torch light
- usb charging
- memory stick converter to SD card slot (or does SE at least sell separately)
- adapter for standard 3.5mm audio jack (or does SE at least sell separately)
Thanks in advance
