I asked for the K850i but the seller told us that they kind of discontinued making such. C902 is better po. x] btw I'm a Filipina hahaha
Just got this phone last Saturday (30Aug08). So far, so good! This phone is raddd x] sound quality is better than that of the K800i's. I miss the Xenon flash, though. Found the touch keys quite useful. :) Great for a college student [like me :p]

well you have to install the latest SE software called update service. When you do that, turn off your phone, take the battery out put it back in and do not power it back on, connect your usb cable while pressing the c button, let go off the button and the update service software will try to find the lastest firmware for your phone. If the phone is branded it is possible that it will say that you already have the latest version. in that case all you have to do is wait for your provider to approve the latest firmware, good luck
Can someone help me how to upgrade the firmware of this phone? I love this phone. The best phone I've ever had
HI does any body know how to update the firmware on the c902 on a apple mac?
i've had so many problems with the c902 freezing whilst texting, silencing people whilst they're on the phone to me (usually ok for first few minutes though), and randomly restarting itself. oh and twice the alarm has failed to work in the mornings. i've taken some great pics on it though!
I love this phone. Took a little getting used to but I managed it!
One strange problem I have though is that the contacts sometimes go a little wierd. I have one contact that the number randomly changes in for no apparent reason. Any ideas how I can fix this?
One of the best phones iv ever owned. Had the usual SE problems like freezing and so forth but had it replaced with one from the second batch. Works great, love the camera altough i do miss the zenon flash, nice sound quality when listening to music, battery time longer then expected and a clean and stylish designe.
I work for one of the larger nordic phone companys and if your having a hard time choosing between k850 and c902; get the c902.
We have had problems with almost every k850 since the release; "Touchscreen" stops working after a couple of weeks, poor battery, flash stops working, still having problems with freezing (released like 10 months ago, i mean come on!)
I just got this phone yesterday. No problems with it out of the box. Put it a 2gb M2 card, upgraded to the latest firmware and it works like shine, so far for I have read lots of different reviews and taht is not the case for many. Camera is good, for what it was designed the phone rocks. I am an avid user of Nokia's and this is a first in a long time for me and so far I had been very pleased. It's a phone that can do a lot, but don't fool yourself if you think it can compare to a smartphone. NO it can't, that was not why it was desinged the way it was. It's got good speed, tons of storage onboard and its an overall pleasant feel. I have a N95, N73 and N82 love them all but change is good once in a while. Had played with N78 at length so no there is no comparison, but in it's class and behind the cyber shot budge it does EXACTLY what it was menat to do. Be a good overall performer with some tricks up its sleeve. Small and very compact may not appeal to all, buttons are interesting and take a moment to get used to, design although unassuming packs in a rocket of a phone.
faye, 25 Aug 2008dont be too sure about the iphone, i have had it and it isnt all that, no bluetoothing, camera... moreYou just mentioned all the things everyone already knows it doesn't have/can't do, yet you bought it anyway...
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2008I bought the C902 a couple of months ago and hadn't had a problem until recently. The phone is... moreyeh - i am getting the same problem... the phone seemingly freezes - usually in the middle of solitair or a text and just turns itself off. when it turns back on ti doesnt go through the whole process.... its really painful and is the only thing that displeases me about this phone. it happened to my last c902 which i took back. only this time it happened after th 30 days and is now too much fo a hassle top have it sent away.
I was about to purchase the K850 in late July when I was told by a SE representative that they are discontinuing the K850.
My first C902 had all the familiar problems:freezing, pauses in music, dropped calls & cut-offs during calls.I got a replacement with the newest FM a few weeks ago & no problems occurred whatsoever.
The sound is loud enough to be heard in calls even on a busy street. I also owned the W910 & the audio quality of both are comparable. You can check the photos taken by this phone & see for yourself that they are of a high quality.
I recently subscribed to the CNN Mobile Service & found that I needed a magnifying glass to read the small words at the bottom of the screen. Save this, I have no complaints about this C902 which I have owned for 3 weeks.
what's the difference between the k850i and this one?? i mean both are equipped with the same 5.0 megapixels and again, both are cyber shots.... a prompt reply will be appreciate, thank you.....
i'm really confused.. here in philippines, it is $100 more expensive than k850i..
i'm choosing it between the two.. i really love k850i but it is so fat..
haven't watched the james bond movie yet..
A few things you may want to have a look at when buying the C902.
If you flip the phone over and look at the back open the slide to view the camera lens. I've had a few friends tell me and show me a really bad scratch that is caused the by sliding action on the lens.
