i looove C902...
i've been using it for a week now..
the 5Mega pixel is super cool..
i love my C902!
great phone, camera is very good,is it 8 photos in 2 secs?? battery life doesnt seem as good as the k810 the buttons seem a bit tricky to use texting sometimes, i havent had any probs with the alarm at all, the loudspeaker and music could be a little bit louder though,i love the contact pics u can add that come up when u call someone or they call you, i am very happy with the phone
Does the photo taken by c902 have date imprint at the lower right corner? Like k810 or k800? Since K850 no such function.
Is the LED flash powerful enough for you to capture a photo under a extreme low light (or NO ligh) condition? or just the same as previous model like w800? Or is just the same as Nokia 7390, if you are familiar with that model? (I know im not suppose to mention Nokia here but just want to have a comparison)
just saw this today... very stylish... shame about the screen and the absence of xenon flash... debuted cheaper than the k850.... if you want a stylish camphone, then by no means take a look at the c902...
which one much worth to buy, C902 or K850i?? pls give me some quality aswer. danke schon.
Wots the touch screen like on it? i've just got rid of my k850, the touch screen on it was very dodgy n kinda put me off touch screens all together. But i do lv the look of this phone
The alarm on this phone is definitely dodgy!
I set all 5 alarms this morning at 10 minute intervals, not 1 went off!
I was 2 hours late for work due to this!!!
Otherwise I am quite happy with the phone, but it is very inconvenient not having a reliable alarm function.
I got this phone 2 days ago and returned it today, its absolute nonsense, it should be against the law for putting a tiny 2 inch screen on a 5mp cybershot camera oriented phone in 2008, the screen is ridiculous, and even the menus, they must be kidding, im not a 5 year old kid so i dont enjoy cartoonish square menus and icons with very bad graphics like the phones in 2002, its not my cup of tea. Im not naming names or company, but one of them has to get their act together very fast.
Even their rivals from Finland need to find some new designers with fresh ideas very fast, the N-series are all starting to look like they came out of the same photo copy machine.
2008 is just feeding us alot of nonsense, 100 different phones with basically minimal altered specs and same physical just for driving up sales.
ill stick to my W890 till 2009 when hopefully innovation and creativeness will take the next step, 2008 is a sad year for consumers, specially does who dont by hyped up phones because of smart marketing.
is there 3G function..... is says yes here but no at http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/mobilephones?cc=gb&lc=en#view=phones&cdl=1&s=0&detail=0&cmp=1&acc_cid=0&cid=0&cmp_id2=265454&acc_pid=0&pid_type=phone&cmp_id0=347396&cmp_id1=262079&pid=326891
so erm? mind the phone owners giv a reply?
this is a wicked phone i absolutely love it. This though is the c905's older brother and you know what they say "the older they are the weaker they get"
Anonymous, 05 Jul 2008the c902 is far more superior than the k850i, for a start it has image stabaliser so that it t... moreDear friend, that what you told me is all true, but it is nothing special in terms of upgrade. My K850i also have Google maps, it's a software, not the phone part. C902 does not have a GPS, and it would be an upgrade. Not the software that you can find easily on the internet and install it in few seconds on any K series phone, like Google maps are. Touch positions on the side of the phone is silly. And withou "image stabilizer" the photos are great on K850i, too. It's only an little improvement of allready great photo interface. But, few days ago, SE gave to me, and to all of us, an answer on my question. "C" series will be the "C"ybershot series in the future, so the "K" will be out of future nomenclature. That's why they are producing similar phones to "K" series, but with "C" name in the last few months. "C", for "Cybershot" ! Not "C" for upgrade ... Waiting for the mighty C905 !
very solid build - much better than my old
w910i. shame about the screen size and video
and texting does take some getting used to -
still it's no worse than a w880's keys !!!
Battery life so far is about on par with
other new Sony's I've had recently.
Wow, great features, 5mp camera ,hsdpa. Too bad the price to expensive
When there is an SMS, can you hear the ringtone every minute again or is it only once?
battery is awesum...just put it on basic settings..but yes it slows down a bit if many aaps run together...
LCD is too small, only 2.0" !!!!!
Battery time is too short !! I must return it !!!
i've got the phone, 3 days ago, very happy with it, it's a little laggy on interface and when there's too much happening eg. if you're trying to listen to music on it and browse photos (it really does slow down noticeably). I don't know if it's because i filled the 1GB with photos i took from my 7.2MP sony digital camera.
In answer to the question, there is T9 predicitve text function
I don't use the camera much but the touchscreen novelty works
Keys can be a little small, my last phone was the k750i and i have a little trouble typing at lightning speed on the small keys of the c902
Other than that the only other major difference that i really appreciate is i can set 5 alarms, lol
I've only had the phone a few days so it's still a little early for any big judgements, but so far it's been pretty good. I only really use it for calls and text so i haven't gone into specifics with the camera or other functions
