Nicole, 30 Jun 2008Hi, I have a few questions about this phone, I have had the C902 for nearly 3 weeks now and... moreHad several people arose this problem, your not sleeping in and ont get worried, i would suggest u buy an alarm clock, or i use my partners phone then set his for him, its not very good at all. (try a music track as your alarm first if not allready)but i wud definatly not rely on ths handset, i work in a phone shop and a few people have said this.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2008i guess you develop a sleeping disorder. or if you want louder, get a walkman.actually the alarm is very dodgy, work in a phone shop and had a few people say the same

Just obtained a 902 as an upgrade and first impresion is great. Just one problem, most Sony Ericsson Phones have a facility to add a moving expression to txt messages. Dosen't seem to be on the 902, or have I missed something? Comment would be apreciated.

I am just not convinced that there is any diference between this phone, and K850i that I have for six months ? Is that any advantage that I've missed ? On the other hand, K850i is a perfect phone, and C902 with the same features will be too !

Nicole, 01 Jul 2008I've checked all my settings and everything seems fine. It did it again this morning, I woke u... moreMy phone alarm worked fine, it rang at 7 (1st alarm) and 7:05 (2nd alarm). It was neither plugged to the phone cable nor plugged to the data cable at any point of the day.
The first time I plugged my phone to the data cable to transfer files, the phone could not emit any sound, even when I tried to perform systems tests. In the end, I just turned off and on the phone and everything was back to normal.
The third time I plugged it to the data cable, the alarm did not activate. I decided to turn the phone off and on and the following morning the alarm worked.

really pleased with this phone. very smart looking. build quality excellent.camera easy to use. only down side is the battery life.it does'nt last longer than 2 days on average,best thing to do is turn off 3g (if you dont use it)it does prolong life of battery.overall the best s/e phone to date.waited 2 months for this phone + well worth waiting for.

I am having problems with the alarm not sounding like in a previous post. This has happened 3 times now! I know it's not me sleeping through the alarm as i set a second alarm today to wake me early and waited for the alarm on my C902 to sound but it never did!!!! Any one else had the same problems and is there a fix?

Nicole, 01 Jul 2008I've checked all my settings and everything seems fine. It did it again this morning, I woke u... moreIncidently, it happened to me this morning. I woke up at 7:01 and the phone did not sound the alarm neither did the screen for the alarm pop up. Set it to 7:05 and it works fine.
It was working fine for a week. The power cable was plugged into the phone the whole night and i connected the phone to the data cable for an hour or 2 before that..
Anyhow, I set a second alarm at 07:05.

This phone is the best ever, sony ericsson just get better and better every time! You can put a 8gb memory card in the phone cause im using one in mine, there is not one bad point about this phone, if you can afford to buy it i will say get it!

Is the C902 compatible with 8GB Memory Stick Micro?

I bought my c902 for US$330 or S$450 in Singapore no contract jus phone alone... after a few days usage is a great phone with great battery life, is very slim phone so far is much better phone than my previous 2 Nokia phones N6510 and N73ME
this is a great phone anyway for ur info i also own w850i n k750i before so i can say C902 is the best phones that i ever have...but i also ant wait to see how good wil iphone 3G will be and the yet to come c905... but now i very satisfy with my c902..Smile

It did it again this morning, I woke up five mins after it should have gone off to a text from a friend, re-set the alarm for 5 mins to see if it worked and it was fine then. I know for a fact there is no way I am sleeping through it, I have an awful alarm tone on there that should wake up even the heaviest of sleepers. I'm not trying to slag the phone off as I do love it, I am just trying to find out if there may be an inherrant fault and unless you ask you never know.

I have a few questions about this phone, I have had the C902 for nearly 3 weeks now and... moreI have had the SE C902 for 1 week plus and never had any problems with the alarm. Maybe its your settings? Did you set the alarm to be silent when your phone is on silent mode?
