The only 'problem' I have with this phone is the fact its a fingerprint magnet on the front - otherwise reception, volume, features are perfect - pictures taken are really good and the 'flash' is perfectly adequate for a phone camera - fits nicely in hand and slim but not too slim. The display is also fine for a phone - if I was expecting to watch a full-length film on it then I'd probably have a moan about it.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I disagree with you (once again)

This phone has got a lot of special things. I have owned it for 3 days now and all I can say is that this is by far, the best phone I have ever owned. It is simply amazing!

All my friends, family, random people I meet who have seen the phone said "WOW this phone looks amazing"...And when you open the camera lens...they are even more impressed.

If you want to stand out, this is the phone for you. If you like big chunky phones loaded of technology with a terrible design, pick Nokia...That is simple!

About the price now. Although I have got it for free (I could have got any other phone from any brand for free too), I believe the price of $600 is justified. The style and design + the great camera of the phone are enough in my opinion.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Thanks, I am doing fine!

I do not need or recommend any 20" display - 2.4-4˝max. But I guess that was a joke.

But, I think a 2˝screen is too small for a 600USD phone :) when you can have a 2.4Ö (43% larger area!) without increase of the phone size - (width and length).

How thing with your new phone?

You got it free so I guess you happy with it.
            Just do not drop it!
Somebody just did a 40cm drop and the phone is dead!
And be careful with the RF - that can be deadly also :)

matt, 20 Jun 2008guys im reallyconfused between buying nokias n82 and SE c902 will any 1 one give me a clear co... moreI guess I can be anyone :)))

SE fans against N82 because of the thickness.
I think a black looks fine. I did not like the silver.

                  You should compare yourself.
Two totally different phone - N82 is loaded with feature and much cheaper.
                  But bigger.

Samsung i900 I think looks good on paper - it will be out soon. - so can not recommend it.

For me, the 2˝screen is totally unacceptable for this price range!

The camera not great. and it seems the built quality also lousy - see message below - unable to take a small drop!

Go see the phone yourself and buy it if you still like it!

Wake up!(I guess you did for the breaking of your SE phone! Nice wake up feature!)

Sony style is not about quality but look and feel :)

You should have listen to me!

Recent SE phones are poorly built!
The G900 even worst than the C902!

Nice gadget. Had it for 'bout 6 hours, then it fell down from my bed (40cm) hit the floor, and the screen (or rather the protective glass) cracked in 5-6 pieces. Ì may have been unlucky, but build quality seems dubious to me. Take care.

Hello. I just purchased my C902. I knew the C905 was due out, but figures I have to read the review of it for the first time while I am holding my 1day C902 in my hand. :-(

My question is this. How do I tell from the phone or serial number or box label if the phone is the UK or China version. ???

ZzZ, 19 Jun 2008NO WLAN, no Xenon, box-like design, no video call...Design is a matter of preference, it does have video call and WLAN is stupid in mobile phones, it makes them larger and heavier for no reason. If you're in an area with WLAN you may as well just use a PC or laptop.

The fact is that several studies demonstrated that RF by cell phones significantly increases tumors and SAR values make a different!

                                  SAR values:

                                  C902 1.34 W/kg
                                  W890 1.37 W/kg
                                  G900 1.39 W/Kg
                                  N95 0.4-0.6 W/Kg

US legal limit is 1.6W/kg - SE values are pretty close to legal limits. And you can be sure that the limit was influenced by the cell phone lobby - not too low!!!!!

lol_maker, 19 Jun 2008Here you go - from the official SE website: http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/download/1/490/... moreI had given the same value!!!

Well, well, well, with your 126 p IQ you are making another huge mistake!

˝C902 has a maximum SAR of 1.34 which is below the average of 2.˝

NOT the average is 2W/kg but the legal limit!!!
                                      Huge difference between the meanings!

BTW, in the US the limit is 1.6W/Kg.

And that is also the legal limit not the average!!!!

                                      For comparison: N95 ~0.5W/kg
