The definition of significant may be different for you,
You may be only an 8 year old, but later in a couple of years you will study geometry.
You will be able to calculate then that a 20% diagonal increase leads to about 40% increase of screen size. For me any increase by 40% is significant.
Your foolish joke about walking around with a 22˝ display for given - after all you probably do not know (yet) what similarity is - you will learn that later too.
I agree with the guy who says that the screen size difference is not significant. For a TV you are right, but as for a phone it's small by definition. But promise when they release a phone with a 22" screen I will let you know...No need to say that you will look great walking on the street with it!
Now, seriously! All of you who keep criticising the photo quality. Don't judge before it actually comes out on June 9th as there will be enhancements. The new technology built in this phone (photoflash, compact lens, pix softwares) will simply impress. SE can't get it wrong this time.
By the way, whoever says that the difference between the 2˝and 2.4˝display is not significant is an .....
Yes, correct it is not significant it is mega-significant. It is like between a 15-17˝ monitor and a 22˝ monitor. Huge difference between a 17˝and 19˝and another huge difference between 19˝ and 22˝monitors.
Try it!
C902 got horrible review for an independent group.
For example the picture quality is totally junk.
I would prefer the C902 because I need a quad phone but I guess I have to go with the G900 and hope it will be fine.
SE has been recently dropping the ball on its phones. Let´s hope they got it together this time.

lens do matter. to achieve good picture quality, your pictures must have reduced noise in it. so what's noise anyway? - noise are the tiny red, green, pink specs in your picture.you can observe this specs on low end cameras... the main reason for this is that the lens must match the size of the picture. in other words, the larger the pixel the larger should the lens be. it must be parallel. ..
so in my opinion, this phone might not be much of what is expected in it.
The phone is gonna be 500 : 600 $
I had the same dilemna but what made me decide to go for the C902 is the slim design and the fact that it is quad band and HSDPA(since I travel quite a lot this phone will be perfect). Plus, I love taking pictures so a Cybershot branding is a sign of great quality. However, G900 has a slightly bigger touch screen with WiFi but is only tri-band and the 5M camera has an average flash (perfect if you are not planning to take many pictures). Again, it depends on what you need for your everyday life, but for me I would go for the C902 without hesitation...
June 8th it will be available. Muhahaha
price will be 600 ~ 750 USD.
Question is, C902 or G900?
Wow, I love how gupsy augily just looked stupid right now.
Moving along, I believe that the K to C series for cameraphones is somewhat of a good move, but what is bad about this phone is that Sony Ericsson opted out a larger screen for more touchsensitive buttons, around the screen nonetheless, and none ergonomic.
With that, they've done good to make the phone MUCH thinner, over the K850, but it's now wider, and it's with matches it with a Motorola RAZR2 (I've compared both side by side, and the effect of the phone's looked from the RAZR, though it's wide, makes it still look thinner then this phone).
This phone will be in stock with O2 week commencing 9th June according to customer services.
this phone is excellent i have seen it with the sony erriccson representative, i like him and the phone
small lens?
oh does it matter?.
and its not a single led flash.
SE wins.
Guys. This phone is a state of the art handset. I find the screen size decent (the difference between a 2"4 and 2" is not significant and you should not base your decision on that). It's a CyberShot with dedicated buttons, the slimmest ever made and definitely stylish. Can't wait to have it!
Small screen, awful camera, - another screwup by SE. I hope the G900 will be much better. It is time for SE to make a decent phone finally.
what is more beautiful SE G900 or SE C902? i cant decide what fone i want to buy
My first impresion is less than favourable. The design is cute, but they could have made the screen bigger by eliminating the dedicated camera buttons, which are otherwise useless.
As to the camera! Single LED flash? Tiny lens? I'm so underwhelmed by this snapper, it's not funny. Since the K550, SE has been droppng the ball in the camera phone wars.
supports up to 8GB.
would this phone support a 4/6/8GB memory card?
