what do you ppl see in this phone?
256k colours only compared to 16mill on other phones
2 inch screen when u can get a 2.4 and above
mem stick only up to 2gb
and no wifi....
the only good feature is the camera.....
i dont see the point in buying a phone which is less than 2.4inches and 16mill.
and the batter on this phone it sound good...but many SE batteries drain as fast as nokias....many of my friends got SEs...and they charge it every day and the only thing they use is to call and text..
here it goes:
SE WiFi enabler accessory...!!!
it is unannounced yet but it is mentioned on the G700 white paper....
now your A200 mobiles are going to be ... BOOM
This one seems gud for me. What abt the recorded video? .3gp/.mp4? 640x480/320x240? 30/15fps? any idea on these?
New "flash" seems gud.. less on power conception, more efficient (like xenon).
Official SE site says this one got MegaBass, won't be missing the 'W' series in this one. Yes the screen size is the same, but it's ok for me. I guess they reduced the screen size to include those 8 illuminated camera touch keys.
Hey people please do not be confused, this phone has 'photo flash',it is the latest flash technology,it is more powerful and more efficient than xenon flashes.Sony Ericsson is the first one to introduce it in mobile phones, just like they did with xenon in the K800i.
PhotoFlash LED is better than xenon flash,
Everybody, haekon is right. Sony Ericsson for some reason don't refer to this cell phone's flash as an Xenon flash. They refer to it as a "photoflash". And websites refer to it as an LED flash. For me, it doesn't really matter as long as the flash is good. So far, it's seems that the flash is amazing.
EVERYBODY LISTEN UP !!!!!!!!!!!!!
This cell phone doesn't have Xenon flash, it has an LED flash. Everybody knows that the LED flash is not as strong as the Xenon.
(PhoneArena.com) had a chance to use this cell phone. This what they had to say about the flash:
"We were surprised the high-class C902 uses LED flash instead of Xenon, which proved to be much better in our tests. However, Sony Ericsson claims this is not the standard LED we are used to and is called by them ‘PhotoFlash’ (the ordinary is ‘PhotoLight’). In the tests of the manufacturer (according to them), it proved equal or better than the Xenon – we will state our opinion after our tests."
If you on't believe me, then here's the site:
SE rules!!! and Go Sony ericsson and new generation for Sony Ericsson! and NOKIA phones are loosers and look at the new models of NOKIA they lack of many features and NOKIA are still creating lack of many features and the design are the same with the old brands!
this could be the slimest 5 Megapixel camera phone at only 10.5mm and it has a lens cover
Great phone, good phone and lots of feature for such small dimension, but very disappointing screen size. i think they should release for 2.4 or higher.
I think i'll buy this phone when it come to my county."SONYERICSSON IS THE BEST"
"To G9: True but I wish they put it in their latest high spec phones (like this one) to complete the connectivity options. Sure its old but another availible connectivity option is always a big bonus..."
Re: Absolutely :)
I dont use infrared too often but its always good to have another type of wireless communication, you're much more restricted if you just have Bluetooth and no Wlan or IR.
SE did put infrared in their fones but then stopped. Nobody really uses it so why bother, we have bluetooth now!
Good phone but the design could have been way better and the screen should have definitley been larger!
This phone has XENON FLASH. Photo flash means Xenon flash.
Read my old post.
Guyzzzz!! This phone DOES have XENON flash!!
I checked it on Sony Ericsson official sites in several languages.
You can check.
"Throw a little light on the subject with xenon flash. It emits a burst of high-intensity light at just the right moment, allowing you to shoot well-lit pictures indoors or in low-light conditions."
(In 3 languages in case you don't believe it lol)
So, 'photo flash' meant 'xenon flash.'
'Photo flash' presents only in phones that do have xenon flash. (e.g. K800i,K810i,K858i)
it's doubtful though where Xenon flash could be. So LED-look-alike flash is actually Xenon flash? Or maybe Xenon flash is located with the LED together?
Whatever.. YES! XENON FLASH!
I'm definitely buying this phone hehe
