You can make the battery last A LOT longer if you turn off the 3G setting, and just turn it on when you want to use the internet, because it speeds up your browsing. Go Settings --> Connectivity --> Mobile Networks --> 3G/GSM and set to GSM only. Hope this helps.

Poor built quality and:
˝ Smallish screen
Images suffer excessive sharpening and purple fringing

Slide-up lens cover collects massive amounts of dust

GrUntA, 15 Oct 2008got mine about 3 weeks ago [black one] the only problem i have with it is the battery life. i ... morewait? you charge your phone every 3 days? how dumb is that. no wonder why your phone don't last lol. everyday your phone should be charge duh! when you charge your battery everynight it gives a longer life time. my w810 is 2 years old and the battery still strong as when i first got it.

I got this phone its light and cool design iam happy with the apperance but the screen is so small and battery life dosn't last long that's the only problem

I am awaiting delivery of this model and want to know if anybody who already has one has used the GPS function. If so, how useful is it, how simple to operate and how does it compare with the Garmin/Tomtom stand alone systems ?

I cant believe people are moaning about only 3 days battery life on this phone! Never had any problems myself even with fairly heavy useage + comparing it to a lot of other handsets that are on the market that have to be charged daily this is a dream! If you're too tight to buy a car charger or the electricity to use a mains charger at night maybe you should buy a Nokia 1200!!!

got mine about 3 weeks ago [black one] the only problem i have with it is the battery life. i am having to charge it once every 3 days, could b the battery, but i cant b too sure till i swap them.
Apart from that i dont have any issues so i must be the lucky 1 in 6 billion to get a good one...

this phone is total crap and should be avoided like the plague . agree with all your comments freezes , drops calls , camera takes pics in my pocket even when slide closed , total rubbish

CRAP!!!.

Not a bad phone BUT if you are in a bad area for phones you may as well give up you will get no signal at all. Where other models do.

its has been out a couple of months as i got mine at the end of july and it had been out a couple of weeks before that so get yourr facts correct mate!!!!!!!
