Anonymous, 18 Jan 2009There's no front cam for video call.U can only use the main cam so the caller cannot see u but... moreI so agree . just got my first c905 after owning a k810i , i just cant work out why i dont have a front camera for video calls , what the hell is the use of the caller seeing where you are walking too or whats on the table infront of you , it goes beyond all that is logical !!! what the hell was SE thinking when looking at this part of the phone , my guess is they wernt thinking at all !!! was this designed late on a Friday afternoon ? no point having video calling at all on this phone , bloody useless . the reast of the phone i have no probs with as yet .

The sound went recently and had to go back for software update to fix it. The navigation right button had also collapsed. Got it back from mend and after 2 week the navigation down button has collapsed now.

Only 2 ... moreHay Rob I baught this phone and i got same problem in this phone so i talked to company and i sent it to them for repair so you should do same call the sonyericsson customer care and tell them abt this prob and send it back to them

I have so many problems with my c905 and so has my friend. Within one month buttons stopped working (up and options button), scratches easily, couldn't hear anyone when made and recieved calls (main and biggest problem!), camera cover stiff on mine, had phone replaced few weeks ago and all of a sudden stopped working again as is not allowingme to make calls so getting a totally new model of phone as can put up with one phone breaking but 2 in 3 months is getting annoying!

marbun, 26 Feb 2009i like to buy this phone but i have so many questions about the quality of this product and af... moreMe and my gf recently bought c905, mine was silver and hers was black on early Dec 08. Only 2 weeks of mild use my gf black c905 got speaker problem where you can't hear any sound when you make a call. Till the end of January 09 it hadn't finished repaired (excuse:parts weren't available) so we decided to trade in for other phone. Early February my silver c905 should be repaired for the 'C' key isn't functional anymore. Waited for whole month 29 Dec they just phoned me it has already finished repaired.
Location: Medan, Indonesia
It's a very good phone actually but it's risky to buy since many phones produced are defective.

also after the software update, another change was the "conversational thread" on text messages,- just like the iphone. But you could still read text messages the traditional way.
Again, did anyone get this software update too?

when i took the phone back for repair, they installed new sofware version and it includes the "tracker". its a cool application that tracks your movement, speed, etc when your jogging/ running.
Did anyone get tracker too?

All my friends and I using less than a month and encounte... moreYES,, i have to agree with you guys,, newer model phones now a days tend to have a lot of problems,, restarting, softwares, freezing, and worst! navy pad mulfunctioning!! last july last year, i bought my gf a k550i for a back up phone, this january after just 6 months, the top right menu key, activity menu key, internet key, & right navy key mulfunction,, I brought it to SE shop & they told me that i have to wait for 3months!!??!?!! to get it repaired because they also dont have the part, & needs to be shipped,, the phone is well handled & not been dropped, not been in heavily used because it is just a back up phone,, im so disapointed now on SE,, pls SE make youre phones more Durable and also the parts availability!!!!

My xenon has serious problem! After taking few pics, i heard like small blow sounds,and my c905 turned off itself,then i turned it on again n it works! But when i take pics,my xenon doesn't work! And after i bring it to se service cntre,the guys told me that my xenon blowed up! And they show me the xenon unit..it's look like burned and yellowish..now i use c905 without xenon...have u ever get this problem too?

most of the comments said this phone isn't good. Can we believe those all? Coz I've been using SE (K800&K850) for 3 years, almost problem free&I believe SE won't produce bad quality phone. Be honest, guys

Hi guys,
I had this phone for about a month and starting to have calculator and bluetooth issues so sent it for repair. Got it back from the repair agent and its now slower than my N95, bluetooth still isn't working and doesn't recognise my memory card.
I have gone back to my N95 coz it works... haha... Any One interested inp[ruchasing the handset?
