jagdeesh, 10 Feb 2009my c905 is working fine .One month back I bought it. surprised to see all negative feedback... moreexactly man, had this phone for almost a month and there is NO such problem! im still shocked at the terrible feedback, like i said peeps, BUY ORIGINAL. this phone is still the best
I have a sony ericsson xperia for 2 months, didn't really like the touch screen interface because my hand is always sweaty... I have this phone (C905) for almost 7 months and I'm still in love with it. I won't be replacing this phone even if you offer me an iphone. This is by far the best phone I ever had. Although I have to admit that the battery life of this phone is weak and the only way to counterfeit this problem is to buy a new back-up battery. sony ericsson phone's when it comes to battery life is really weak and it can only sustain a day or two for hard core usage (especially when your using the camera and the music). :3
Anonymous, 10 Feb 2009this phone in ,y opinion is a peice of sh*t. i have had it replaced twice and still the same p... morehello, i would just like some opinions.. im thinking about gettin the S.E C905 but reading all the negative feed back im wondering if it'such a great phone? for me S.E is the best manufacture even though there software is a bit of a prob?
anyways is it worth getting the C905? if not which other would u recomend?
andrew.f, 10 Feb 2009C905 Second Generation. Here in Germany T-Mobile just got in the second batch of this phone... moreAndrew, I've swapped mine as well here in Holland with T-mobile. Hopefully I've got one of the new batch as well and for now it's not making scratches yet (just 2 days) :) Finally after 2 swaps and 2 repairs I've got a working C905, it better stays that way.
my first time to buy sony. and in less than a month the upper keypads was not working well. had to return it to the shop for a warranty service in dubai. after 2 weeks they said no spareparts available, to top it all they deformed the back portion of my mobile. defininitely their service center tecnicians was not skilled. up to this date since dec those people in CELLUCOM are just giving me talk and promises regarding this issue. buttom line is c905 keypads are not durable, and above all, CELLUCOM and its service warranty is below the customer service standard. so think twice before buying a mobile in CELLUCOM. I'LL GO BACK TO NOKIA...
this phone is good... just the gps keeps taking all my credit.. i thought it was built in.. guess not?? Does anyone know how to use this gps without it wasting your credit???
colour juz 256k only....although has 8mp photo shot...but colour also no gd...
Oh, one other thing...the interface is slow, the speed of the CPU must be horrid - my w880i was much better. and the 'help' that comes within the interface gets in the way of doing things quickly, like the predictive text in messaging constantly suggests words and forces me to select something when i shouldnt have to.
going back to nokia.
Great looking phone but that is all. This is my second phone, the first was turning itself off the first day i had it.
slide is reasonable but not a long lasting quality item, buttons are too hard to press, the four-way nav button has malfunctioned after only 10 days, camera is slow and if this is an 8MP phone then i am Neil Armstrong. Could be brilliant but i am sorely disappointed. will be returning this for somthing better like a Nokia. GPS takes 15 minutes to get a lock (this is without any buildings blocking signals) and wifi performance is slower than me putting the zeros and ones in manually.
dont buy one.
Tested it again for the second time in a shop today!
Wow! Its sooo Nice, the Xenon Flash is Awesome! User-Interface is supreme.....The camera is awesome. Games are awesome! MediaBar just got better.....Wi-Fi is wicked.
Keypad, Design, D-Pad, Slider all were EXCELLENT!
I Highly recommend it!!!!!
this phone in ,y opinion is a peice of sh*t. i have had it replaced twice and still the same problems.
cr@p video, GPS doesnt work and very low battery life.
C905 Second Generation.
Here in Germany T-Mobile just got in the second batch of this phone after many complaints of keypad, d pad and speaker quality issues. I had one of the first ones as well and had some issues with the above mentioned items. Just swapped mine out for one of these improved ones and now I'm fully satisfied with this phone. They keypad has even feedback on all keys now, the d pad has a much more defined click as well as even feedback in all directions. My slide isn't scratching my keypad either so that's good.
If you are having issues I'd see if you can get it swapped out for a newer one.
my c905 is working fine .One month back I bought it. surprised to see all negative feedback.
actualy phone realy has a warranty, even you buy phone to another planet, as long as you have the warranty card. receipt(due some store requires it)and as long you have SE store near by, or a hotline number to se, they cn cover repairs, replacement for accesory , e.g battery, charger, m2 car, headset, or just ask the store where you bought if they can cover it,. due some store are authorized doing warranty claim also, and depend on location if they will just repair it or replace it... as stated also in very manual that comes with the phone
