Anonymous, 26 Jan 2009I think you don't need to listen those people,I have one too, never have any problem, very nic... moreI think you are right... I have mine for a few weeks. No problem like some people claimed.
I have this phone and I found nothing wrong with it, however the first phone I had I had to send back as the down button was sticky but that was not a sony ericsson or make flaw. simple to replace and a very very good phone indeed. love the camera and supurb all round. me and my partner both have this phone , differnet colours, and love it.
I had this phone for 2 weeks and and earpiece knocked out on me!!! i do not complain much but this is the first time i have had a phone that stopped working in such a short time. After reading some posts, i understand and sympathize all the other ppl who have this phone and it not functioning properly... i could not believe the earpiece stopped working after 2 weeks!!! i am moving on and going Samsung or Nokia... I have always been with SE and I am tired of the mediocre phone specs especially the camera specs, SE is so behind on this... SE you have lost a loyal customer since the T68i days... im going Samsung i8510

Hehe, just kidding but if you really like to change your brand, then that's your choice.
this is hands down the best slider phone i have ever had, also the camera is incredible how you can take 7 pics at once.
overall i love this phone and you should buy one if you have not all ready, way better than n series phones by nokia
You should all be PATIENT and Wait for the Next firmware upgrade, and if you have a bad hardware unit then return it and get a Replacement!
mary, 25 Jan 2009dont understand all the problems you all have i dont have any and the phone is just great )so you do not mind a battery that runs out before 2 days

Do Not Buy This Phone.
The Problems/Faults Are Incredible
The Earpiece WILL Conk Out After A Week
Dropping The Phone Will Seriously Damage The Casing
The Keypad Will Eventually Rip Even If You Barely Use It
Look It Up.
Im Returning Mine NOW

T-MAC, 25 Jan 2009of course there ae going to be more complaints about this phone. As the flagship phone of the ... moreyeah u said it... slider problems/build quality issues, speaker issues, buttons become scratched, software issues...
its not really asking for perfection, people spend alot of money on phones and should really get what they pay for. simple.
just read the comment below mine... one of many.
My C905 is not functioning (earphone no sound) less than 2 months after purchased. It has been almost 3 weeks since I submit it to the service station and the phone has not yet been repaired. I don’t know how much longer it will take to get the sparepart. I am truly disappointed.
It’s not about the phone, but the data stored in the phone. I am so frustrated not able to look at contacts to find people. Yes, it is customer’s responsibility to have backups, but when a customer buy a phone that means the customer already trusts the phone to be functional. I can tolerate 1-week repair time, but 3 weeks is just not acceptable. Sony Ericsson itself does not help much to manage customer satisfaction. All they can do is being sympathetic and ask to wait for the sparepart, they have no intention to replace with a new phone or to assign a backup phone for customer to use while waiting for repair. I do not suggest anyone to buy C905. A broken handphone combined with long repair time has no value.

Anonymous, 25 Jan 2009of course they are, doesnt change the fact that there are more than average customer complaint... moreof course there ae going to be more complaints about this phone. As the flagship phone of the company, consumers expect it to be the be all and end all; absolutely faultless in other words.
The major flaw in this reasoning is nothing can be perfect. I agree that there are a large amount of complaints about this phone, but the reason behind it is simple
Kelly, 25 Jan 2009Well all I'm saying is the rate of early life failure seems the same as with other phones- bot... moreany phone is going to have problems, its an inescapable part of growing technology. The thing is that problems are highlighted much more than the praises. I actually own a C905 and mine is the one that kelly referred to as the returned.
Look at the Nokia's of past, the N95 had major problems when it was first released, the e65 has had major problems as well. i won't be suprised if the same goes for the N97. But most of these phones still rate fairly high. Foibles are always easier to spot than good traits
