C905 eats all the 8MP phone. the only worst in the hp is the screen too small.

eventhough y offline, you still have to connect GPRS to get yr GPS to work... (will be charged by yr provider)

Sony has just fired off their latest salvo in "Battle Megapixel" with the unveiling of their Exmor CMOS image sensor line up.
- IMX046PQ, 1/3.2 CMOS with 8.11 MP
- IMX045PQ, 1/4 CMOS with 12.25 MP
- IV046F, 1/3.2 lens module with 8.11 MP
The new 12.25 MP sensor will be available starting March 2009 for priced 2,500 Japanese Yen(USD$26)
Look for handsets with 12 megapixel cameras hitting the market sometime in the middle of next year - especially those from Sony Ericsson and Samsung.

no!! second camera, you cam make video calls but you have to use the camera on the back! how dumb is that! so on your screen the face shows up who you are calling so you can see who you are phoning but then for them to see your face u have to face the back of the phones and look at the camera lense? but then the screen is on the other side of the phone lol how stupid is that! so if you want to make video calls you can but you won't see who you are chatting to because you have to look through the camera on the back of the phone and can't see the screen dumb dumb dumb! they have so drop the ball on this! i can't believe a mistake like this can be made!

This device will sell very well as an all-round well featured proposition. For those who would like the features of the C905 without the 8 mp camera functionality the G705 is ideal and is expected end of this year.

you can scratch it with anything - nothing would happen to the glass!
Thanks for the info i think i gonna buy this, our the new HTC touch HD i heard that the screen is made from scratch free glass too.

hi just got this phone a week ago. i wouldnt say it is chunky, it is actually almost identical in size to my old k800i. in fact its probably even slimmer due to the built in camera cover.
the wifi works brilliantly and hasnt dropped out for me once. the reception is far better than on my other phones. battery life once gps and wifi turned off is fine, about the same as the k800i maybe a little less.
camera is outstanding, more photo options and set ups than my old sony cybershot digital camera!!! and definitely better results.
my only gripe is that sometimes the camera cover activates the camera when touched but not opened (like when you are texting and you finger round the back of the phone touches it) very annoying but only very occasionally happens

And no the phone doesn't have a secondary camera as mentioned here often before! But why would you use videocalling anyway? ;)

Sound of the device is amazing for a camera phone, much better as the K800i or K770i. It's loud but good.
Nav4all is free realtime navigation that should work in Australia too, I'd suggest you try it. You can't download TomTom on the phone as it doesn't have an OS, it can only support Java programmes.

all i can say is the phone quite solid the sliding feel is good & when i go through the menu is so smooth but the oni thing is there are no secondary camera tat means there is no camera in front i really shock when i know is so dissapointing
