What type of operating system (OS) does SE C905 has? Is it UIQ3 or S60v3?
Anonymous, 24 Oct 2008This phone is already available in Hong Kongdo u think that the slide door is a week thing ??
Outdated phone, i bet still using the UIQ software which is on the brink of instinction.
For the love of the mobile god! what kind of phone is this? 19 mm thick? still 2.4 inch screen for a 8 megapixel camera? still as usual ancient video recording (QVGA)not even (CIF)?
It is 5 years behind its top 3 compitetors (NOKIA, SAMSUNG and LG) and at the same level or a bit ahead to MOTOROLA.
What the hell are Sony Ericsson playing at.
A 3G phone with no front facing video call camera (the K800i and other Sony Ericsson current 3G phones and the last UIQ Phone the P1 had one).
Just cos Apple have no Video Calling Camera at present watch out for Iphone 3 SE think they can get people to make do with turning the phone around and using a mirror (while they comb their hair). SE will be walked over by LG, Samsung and Nokia with their heavy boots on and also Motorola and HTC.
Maybe its time that SE Closed down finally with some sort of grace like Siemens did and Sendo did.
Bless them all.
just got mine love it the way it looks and sound it great and yes 8MP camera its wow got it from www.popularelect.com im posting the site cause i told them ill tell everyone about them they are really nice people talha i think thats him who helped me talk to him
IMHO this C905 is better then the i8510 and ?Nokia? !, soo yeah this C905 is a must buy.
I got mine today in Singapore,
The photos are great, they look warmer and more realistic than Samsung/Nokia which look more "digitised".
The Xenon Flash makes great photos in low light.
GPS is a bit slow and keypad take a bit getting used to.
Sounds is quite good from the handset speaker, havent try from headphone yet.
Overall, I love it.
Ive gotta say im dissapointed in it.Ive looked forward to trying it and wow just a spruced up k800i.The only good thging is the wi fi and after taking some picss on standard settings i found the samsung i8510 better all round apart from the battery life.Guuna try the lg kc910 and see what thats like also the x1 then decide. So in all still a good phone but nothing special
daki2909, 25 Oct 2008I think this is a great phone! It has excelent camera!!! off course. this is a good STILL camera phone if you are meaning that. but u cannt be serious using the word GOOD for its video recorder(QVGA at max)
this is the most weak phone of SE. BIG WORDS. CYBERSHOT, 8mp. huh. records video at qvga and calls itself a camera phone. Samsung M8800 Pixon is the king and to it c905 is nothing.
Got mine from o2 today as an upgrade on o2. Free on £35 per month 18 month contract. Nice phone but apart from the camera, not that impressed. Will decide within the 14 days if I'm gonna keep it or get the i8510 instead.
