SE has always made good phones with focus on one feature instead of zillion. Anyways, it's HD era so get urself a handycam and stop moaning about video recording of c905. K800 is still better than a n95 at taking photos @night/poor lightning but truth always hurts. enjoy ur C905 when it comes out guys :)))) see u around
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970in uk this phone will be available on monday 20th october

according to their last cameraphone product, i must agree that Samsung will definitely be... moreWell if you think C905 uses Samsung module then you fail miserably :) - Sony has developed an 8Mp cmos sensor based on Exmor technology, we first see the first Exmor based camphone with SO905iCS, now we have the C905 as the 2nd phone to be blessed with that module.
an in case you didn't know, Exmor CMOS is a sensor type used in Sony Alpha A700 DSLR - it is a special type of sensor that Sony semiconductors developed for use in their elite cameras ;)
Will I was waiting for a mobile with this Spec., but don't you think that 136G is a kind of heavy and bolcky mobile. Rather than that it has a high Spec.
Direwolf_65, 27 Aug 2008LOL!!
If they use the same technology how is one better than the other?yeah most manufacturers use the samsung camera modules but the drivers change and the way they compress them down is all different. this is where sony ericsson seems to fail i guess based on the k850.
k800 camera was good though
Anonymous, 27 Aug 2008The camera on this phone isn't as good as 5MP Nokia handsets already out !
See the review -
... moreThey also said;
Smart Contrast filter (our sample images were taken without this feature.)
So try again.

according to their last cameraphone product, i must agree that Samsung will definitely be... morewrong... both models come with virtually identical camera modules...expect, once in poorly lit environments/night time one camera will excel while the other will produce average photos at best.
check out some of the comparison previews at smape.com and u will find they disagree with you too.
It ,may only be qvga but the poeple this phone is aimed at wont neccesarily need better video. it is primarily a stills camera phone.
If you want a good camcorder you buy a handicam not a camera that also shoots video
Its amazing to see so many brand huggers who post. Grow up. The nokia or samsung fairy wont tuck you in at night if you bash other brands products. Sony Erisson happens to make a very good product. If you actually tried it you may like it. The phone is not out yet so how can you rate it as well. Grow up!
endlessz, 25 Aug 2008but 2.4" screen only...?
just like my...N76's screen? o_O" ....Screen isnt small its the same as any other sony ericsson phone has been in the past so if u didnt call them small then why are u now? they the screen size is 2.4 inch same as k850i.
I wudnt compare screen size to n96 and n95 coz n96 and n95 are bigger in size the weight of the phone doesnt determine what screen size they can use it the size so pleas can u stp with all the 'the sceen is so small' comments
Allan, 26 Aug 2008C905 is a joke. It has 8 meg but qvga video and I'm sure a pretty hefty price tag!@allan
why are u saying it only has qvga screen so does n95 and new n96 will too so ur acting like c905 is behind when its clearly not except this one has a 8.1 mp camera!
even samsung & LG has a great features when it comes to video recording...at least SE focus in one thing and that is camera function so it has better camera that LG & samsung.........go SE
i like this camera phone, how much is the price of this phone?
Nokia CEO, 26 Aug 2008Best of 8 Megapixel camera phone :
1. Samsung GT-i8510 INNOV8
2. LG KC910
3. Motorola Mot... moreyup
according to their last cameraphone product, i must agree that Samsung will definitely beat this product again in term of picture quality, just like Samsung G800 beats SE K850.
(as GSM Arena points out at the their G800 vs K850 review)
afterall, all SE phone utilizes Samsung's camera technology, so there's no way SE will beat Samsung.
