Fantastic flagship phone. Wish it didn't look so much like a NOKIA though!
SE have so many new models, its turning into a frenzy here in Australia.

In my country, Indonesia, there's a local branded phone called VirtuV. The VirtuV F8 is one their phones. That phone is equipped with 8 MP Cam (i don't know whether it's an interpolation or not, and neither i know what's the lens' name) with CCD Censor, 5x Digital Zoom, and also auto focus (with macro and scenery mode). That phone has flash (and again, i don't know is that Xenon or just only LED Flash, but it looks like Xenon) with red-eye reduction. F8 also can record VGA video with 30fps. F8 has TVOut, too. Well, C905 has so many competitors. F8 and Samsung Primera...

this phone as i have had many of se but as of my last w580 and the headphone conection breaking around 3 times in 6 months i would not buy this as it seems to be the same setup. yet sony change that and i wouldnt think twice

Allan, 16 Jul 2008i hear c905 is unofficially a 3 megapixel cameraphone! But officially SE added 5.1 megapix, so that would be 8.1 megapixel cam in an ûber sexy body. You want a link for that? LOL!

debates over camera and video. "the camera is better because it is cybershot (yeah thats a little sticker on the phone). I dont want VGA because SE's qvga is better than nokias VGA.
their walkman phones are clearly unpractical. "3.5mm jacks are bad. adapters are better because you get music controls and anyway, walkman headphones are the best ever. (yeah but nokia offer you an adapter with music controls, its totally optional on the xpressmusic and Nseries)
it isnt a smartphone. "yeah but java is better. it is quicker (not true, k850 was slower than the n95) and you can do everything a smartphone app can do with java".
just a collection of lame arguments over the last months haha

Sony Ericsson Themes Creator tool now allows packaging of Flash Lite files

Via Hayden, Sony Ericsson has released a new version of their Themes Creator tool (v 3.27) on their Developer site. It allows the packaging of Flash Lite files (screensaver/wallpaper) into the Themes files. The devices able to use the Flash Lite files include C702, C902, W760, W980 (Flash Lite 2.0 devices). According to Hayden, for other devices one must distribute the SWF content separately from the theme.
“New Theme Generator feature
The Theme Generator is a new feature in the tool that lets designers quickly create harmonious themes based on a predefined color formula by allowing you to change the general colorization of the theme using the color wheel, color sliders or by directly changing the HEX values. When changing the color parameters, the tool will, in real-time, suggest a harmonious color scheme for the various elements in the theme and then apply the result to the whole theme. Another option is to use the Theme Generator feature as a starting point for getting a set of colors for the various elements in the theme and then go on from there and add images, graphics, animations, sound effects etc.”
The tool is available for Windows, OS X (MAC) and Linux.

Anonymous, 15 Jul 2008Did you know that N96 is runned with double processor, sort of a dual core for in pc.. did you... moreit doesn't matter if the fone is runnin at double processor like a dual care, the battery still wont be good enuf, come on, watch d specs & features, u expect the battery 2 last long?
