Nokia fans should be thankful that Sony Ericsson Japan phone portfolio has been exclusive to them. Cause if it made available worldwide you wouldn't be bragging your N95 in here.

If they're claimed N95 is a computer, I think Nokia was right. U can find processor, operating system, huge memory, office aplication, connectivity, multimedia, game, etc. U can also installed 3rd party aplication/game. Nokia mean N95 has a phone with complete portfolio like computer.
If SE claimed their upcoming Xperia X1 was a computer, they're right too.
Be a smart people guys, don't be fanatic.
The new SE c905 is better that n95 and w960i.because mostly n series phones doesn't work gprs properly is sri lanka. SE phones support all networks for connectivity . Can anymody argue with me ?
alena, 04 Jul 2008Hey, i really like this phone... but im really confused between w960i n c905, so plz can... moreYou can't enter them in comparison . W960 is upgraded p990 . it has such a good camera , symbian operation system , touchscreen screen, etc . actually you should ask from yourself that which operating system (JAVA or SYMBIAN ) is more useful for you . if you want a cellphone just for camera , music quality or games , go for C905 or other products like it , but if you need support of softwares for your work , W960 or other products like it will be better for you .

you are waffling too much..
Ordinary people like (us) know what i mea... moreLooking at the N95, anyone, any normal person, can conclude that it's not a PC. It's a phone that can perform things (but not all things) that a computer can do: play media, surf the web, and read/send e-mail among other things. That's not "pure" lying.
Anyone that was duped to believing that the N95 is a PC would be just as easily duped into believing that SE K750, during its time, can rival a quality mid-end digital camera. 5mp was already common that time; K750 = 2mp. It can't outclass one.
And if you think SE isn't lying..here's text from a SonyEricsson press release for C905 amd S302:
“The C905 Cyber-shot and S302 Snapshot have been developed to make us all better photographers!..."
Surely, there's lying (not 100%) in there too, or probably telling only half the truth, specially if you take it literally; merely possessing this 8mp camera phone does not "bring out the photographer in us all". Thus, if you've taken the "computer --> PC" thing literally for N95, you'd reach the conclusion that SE committed the same sin.
If you're wondering where I got the press release, search Google with these terms:
sony ericsson C905 press release
And know what.. some other manufacturers, if not all, do the same marketing strategy. Don't go pointing fingers only at Nokia, you might as well point a finger at SE and the others.
Adam, 04 Jul 2008Why are people comparing this to the N95? The N95 was compared with the K850i, which it came o... moreAdam , camera isn't everything . K850 was compared to N95 , because there wasn't any 5MP camera . compare other features : K850 doesn't have 16M 2.6 screen , fixed 30fps video quality , GPS ,Wi-Fi , etc. If you had experience with it , you wouldn't compare it with N95 . I've been really satisfied with my N95 since last year . Unfortunately none of the products (from all of the brands)are perfect and they should have a problem !!
Allan, 03 Jul 2008I have no regrets buying my n95. You only spend lots of money for any cell phone if you get... moreOr in Nokias case wait until the second or third upgraded edition comes out, because you will be stuck with a phone you don't want. Thanx, eddie
Adam, 04 Jul 2008Why are people comparing this to the N95? The N95 was compared with the K850i, which it came o... moreeverybody has a right to question 'cybershot'.
the k850 was terrible.
also its just a sticker they put on their phones, it doesnt somehow improve the quality of the photos.
anyway samsung makes the cameras for SE.
i am so pleased to see this phone coming to life
BUT why a company like Sony usses Samsung C mos camera sensors in its phones????
i wish that this phone will be the leader in the market for the months to come
Why are people comparing this to the N95? The N95 was compared with the K850i, which it came out on top in functionality and more importantly sales. But until Nokia release a 8MP camera-phone then thre isn't any point comparing. This looks like it will be a huge seller, no one can doubt the cybershot picture quality. It is also good to see they removed the touch part at the top of the keypad. Nothing but issues with that.
nick, 03 Jul 2008whatever nokia do, there is always someone complaining.... nokia give you the n95, a phone ... moreyes people complain, about people like you that feel the need to return to forums of phone they have no intention in buying.
dani can you post a site where it says it has vga video?
at mobile review it has been confirmed that c905 only has QVGA video at 30 fps...
me, 04 Jul 2008i am not slaggin off n95 or any models... its just nokia claim it to be a computer when they k... morewell it can type...install applications.....have games and emulate games...play different types of videos, have a pc like browser
I think it all screams out as a mini computer to me(n95)
Does anyone here lives in UK (Beirain)? If you do, do you have any idea when is this phone will be release? I was ought to get the c902 one but i went on the se site to compare between those 2 phones & i find c905 is way better than the c902. You can reply here or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
There are very few things that unsatisy me..no 1, the thickness of the phone.
