when viewed side by side, the C905 is more beautiful...
just love to hear nokia user having an anxiety attack whenever SE steps up the game. LOL!
Camera on Nokia phone is better.... !especially in indoor shot, Nokia give clearer and smooth picture not like Sony Ericsson with picture full of dotted color like red, yellow, blue.. and more...very dissappointed...
that sony ericsson seems a good mobile phone in my opinion. Now how does it cost? Because it would be quite expensive when they will release it.
Honestly, i think the problem with Sony Ericsson Cyber Shot camera phone is the lack of contrast. I have my nokia N95 and my classmate had his SE K850i. And we, ourselves compared the picture in my phone and in his phone. And we noticed ALMOST every images taken by that SE K850i it's seems like lifeless, lacking of contrast. And that made Nokia a winner for it. Even if my Nokia N95 8GB doesn't have a Xenon flash that the SE is boasting that time.
Anonymous, 20 Jun 2008I'd say the önly worthy that can be called a "smartphone" is window mobile phone. And that wit... moreconfused? u mean to say hard to use??
no way, i remember i was 12 yrs. old that time and I have my first ever nokia symbian phone, the nokia 6600. The first time I have it on my hands. I found it very easy to use. I explore the features and discover all the capabilities of that phone without reading the manual, but just using my "common sense"
For me Nokia is the best and user friendly phone.
Everything is is highly organize.
that's why nokia opted to have carl zeiss optic ön their phone cause they know they couldn't make it on their own. LOL! Desp'rate move on part of nokia. LOL!
"Camera Race" u make me laugh.
The nokia N82 beats all sony ericsson Cybershot phone which are on the market. it just shows nokia needed to make one Imaging phone wid Xenon Flash not like SE with about 50 different Xenon Flash based phone with boring JAVA. what would u want a average cybershot (C905) 8.1MP or a 5MP (N82) dat has better camera quality and da best capture for Night Mode?
Remember 8.1, 12MP people get hyped up about it but end of day u need camera with good image capturing capabilitys.
OH btw C905 still runs on boring JAVA lol. i thought sony would have learned there lesson by now and make a symbian based C905 which would have gave it more better.
also the hardware used on C905 is same like old SE phone (2 years ago hardware). time to move on SE....
Stud, 19 Jun 2008Ok, everybody, now PAY ATTENTION!!!! The Megapixels count doesn´t make the good quality on ... moreSE used 5.91mm canon lens wich is bigger than the K850 and N95 (5.1mm) and they used a bigger sensor check the developer site, plz check the exact specs b4 posting.
carloud, 19 Jun 2008to the "z" guy wondering what is the use of a smartphone a smartphone has unlimited numbe... moreI'd say the önly worthy that can be called a "smartphone" is window mobile phone. And that with nokia, is a "confused" OS.
Nokia is Nowere in this 'Camera Race'
K850i, C902 obviously have better picture quality then most Nokia's
SE do use THE BEST Sensors and Lenses they always have done.
if megapixel doesn't count, then why the hell do digital cameras has their own race with megapixel count. Nokia fans are so hypocrite with their opinion. You're just so envious with this phone.
Really I love Sony Ericsson because they put Xenon Flash in some of their Phones. Without xenon you can not make pictures in the night.
So buy phones with Xenon flash! (I have K800i)
Ok, everybody, now PAY ATTENTION!!!!
The Megapixels count doesn´t make the good quality on pictures. The more megapixels you have the bigger picture you'll have without having to stretch out the pic. So, you will only see this when are about to print out you pictures. On your pc monitor you won't notice the difference between a 3mpx vs 8mpx.
And for your info what makes good pictures is the Optics, Lens & Image Sensor.
Why do you think that Nokia uses Carl Zeiss Optics with Tessar Lens???? Because those are 1 of the best optics in the world for cameras. (Not the Best but 1 of the best)
If you really know about photography you will know what I'm talking about. That's why I don't get excited about 8Mpx if SE will use crappy sensors, lens and optics. (like K850, C902)
Let´s wait until this comes out and let's see a few reviews done the the webpages that we trust and then judge.
Not a Nokia fan boy but if this cellphone uses the same optics as K850, C902 it's gonna be the same crap as those 2 mentioned before. And N95 & N82 will still have a better picture quality than this.
I'll be waiting for your replies!!!
polo99a9, 19 Jun 2008i think SE has a bad design. personaly i prefer the nokia, but a reply to your statement. 1. ... more2mp no different than 5 mp? try it yourself, if you can't tell go get your eyes checked. price will usually be high in the beginning.. thats the same way with everyone else. How much was n95 when it came out? there ya go! oh behind nokia, samsung, iphone 3g? They each have their own goods and bad.. each have their own fan club
polo99a9, 19 Jun 2008i think SE has a bad design. personaly i prefer the nokia, but a reply to your statement.
1. ... more1st: Why do you need HSCSD? Do you even know what that is? When was the last time you've used HSCSD? Its like going back to 56k modem when you can use DSL.. even EDGE which is widely available is more than 2x or even 4x speed of HSCSD.
2nd: infrared? seriously? What do you use infrared for? Bluetooth is much faster, easier, and widely used than infrared in the mobile arena. I think most people that uses infrared are Japanese, but they have a enhanced version of infrared. Which is absent in Nokia anyway.. so I dont know what you're complaining about.
3rd: whether SE's UI or Nokia's UI.. they both have the advantage and flaws... there is no perfection. I personally have used both and I find SE's UI much easier to navigate... but thats me because Ive used SE so much more. I know people that have used Nokia more and would prefer Nokia over SE. I also know people who prefer Samsung or LG or HTC..etc. Its just personal preference.
to the "z" guy wondering what is the use of a smartphone
a smartphone has unlimited number of contacts, messages and better calendar integaration system, most flexible U.I. you can probably have and you can customize it to you every whim
and the ability to upgrade the features and play games that you cant on regular phones such as emulators etc...
if you think about it...look at the name and the look of the phone...its quite similar to n95 right?
and the name...c905 which could basically mean n95 only replaced with a C and added a "0" hehehehe
and I wonder...how can some people dub it as "n series killer" when this phone pitted against the n95 only has bigger picture resolution which isnt even double the pixel count of the n95 wheras in video recording n95 does quadruple the amount that the c905 is able to produce...
and what does the c905 has that the n95 hasnt?
nothing aside from the bigger picture resolution
what does the n95 have that the c905 doesnt..
for starters it is a smartphone, has video card for ngage gaming,VGA video at 30fps, better LCD screen and more buttons and even infrared, better processor (since the c905 uses the same type of arm9 209mhz processor as the k850)
Im sorry I fail to see why does it have to be dubbed as an "n series killer"
that amount of hype alone can lead this phone to being an "epic fail"
why cant we just let this phone shine by its own instead of having to carry the burden of a huge hype surrounding it...kinda reminds me of kill zone for the ps2 against halo of the x box wherein killzone wasnt able to live up to the hype
blackwebb, 19 Jun 2008sony ericsson has been trying there best to class there self with nokia, but it very very very ... moreHey! dont say any damn things and dont compare it to nokia its a way ahead from nokia and it isnt smartphone but feature phone compare it with feature phone.
