i've been using this phone for about 6 months now. at first, i've been very happy with it, now, im not so sure.. the first thing to go wrong is the keypad, its not like its scratched or anything, its just that buttons keeps on getting harder and harder to push. making texting or sending sms difficult. then the earpiece gave up on me, and then the menu key or center button for the directional pad is not working properly anymore, the phone thinks its the button for the phone status, i've already updated it to the latest firmware, verified that it is beyond week 42 and to be honest, i've been taking real good care of my c905. build quality just isn't the greatest...

I will never understand one thing:how is it possible that a very slim Nokia (6500 Classic) can ring/sound so loud (and also nice) and this high end SonyEricsson model,which is so thick (three times more than 6500) sounds so low.It's not just it isn't a show when it rings,but in a noisy place you can easily not hear it...And god damn,they could find place for a powerful speaker in that huge case!Beside,the design reminds me about old 6280...Where is the elegancy of Samsung or LG-s?Why can't you stilish your phones,SonyEricsson?Young people (and not only them,in fact)wants to be oneself noticed and with this model...not a chance!!!It has a good camera,rich specifications but they missed the sound and the design...Back to the lab and waiting for some of real value!

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2009Honestly, Dont get this phone. The internal speaker in mine died 3 times in the first 4 months... moreu can't judge an entire line of phones on just your experience. i own 2 of these, 1 c902, 1 g700, 1 c702 and they are all great. nothing is guaranteed to be perfect and with electronics there are bound to be issues. SE has proven to be top of the line over the years and wouldn't be able to charge top dollar if they weren't. they are always ahead of the game in innovation as well.

Build quality of SE phones are far more durable than a Nokia. I'm saying this thru experience.

I got this phone as i like to take a lot of photos and at this the phone EXCEEDED.
HOWEVER im sending it back for the second time now due to the earpiece speaker being a sack o crap. I swear that i musta only got 2 months use out of it. The thing is that this is a problem with all SE sliding phones yet nothing is ever done about it, what a JOKE. Ive been a SE user for 7 years but When i get it back i am selling it off straight away and I will never again buy a sony ericsson.

i accidentally dropped my c905, about a meter high, and its earpiece didn't work anymore.

planned 2 get this phone, but after reading all comments in this site, makes me confuse about SE qualities. I thinks SE has major problem in QC.i'm using K850 and had 2 fixed twice(speaker replacement&LCD connector problem). Honestly want 2 get other brands but none has a complete product like SE. Cybershoot lines really have Great Camera&music (k800&k850). I've been using nokia, SE & samsung, but for camera&music u wud go for SE

i think it is a very good mobile phone because it has many different uses like its camera i don't think you will find a mobile like that in any mobile company and any one who will say that its not good i think he is wrong
