I get a C905 in November, and just last month, the earpiece speaker went bad (this was an issue in some of the earlier batches of C905's). So, I decided to get a new phone, and went with the UltraTOUCH. I was extremely disappointed. The phone has SO much potential, but the extremely slow interface is painful. In addition, if you are a big texter, you will not like the UltraTOUCH. This is because if you make a mistake, you will find it insanely difficult to move the cursor to where you need to delete a letter, since the screen is not precise. Also, the battery on the UltraTOUCH barely lasts a day on average use. The camera isn't even at par with the C905's camera, especially if you take a lot of night shots.
The C905 however has threaded SMS texting (with a firmware update), so you can track your conversations, a 8MP camera like the UltraTOUCH, but of much higher quality with a xenon flash. The interface is extremely fast and easy to learn and get used to. It is a much better experience. It also has Wifi, which the UltraTOUCH doesn't have!
It is so much better that I sold my UltraTOUCH and I am using my C905 (with the broken earpiece speaker) with a Bluetooth headset right now.

The best one between the c905 and the e71 is the c905 U can feel the quality of the keyboard, it is beter and its not so small as the e71.

hello. I really need your help guys. I dont know if i would buy SE C905 or Samsung Ultratouch?? Sony Ericsson is Sony Ericsson, quality is better (I think), it has wifi but it is big, fat and ultratouch has touchscreen and it is very thin but doesn have wifi. please help me!!!

last four phones have been sony- got this one, was replaced within two weeks. since then i have sent it away a total of three times, twice for the same problem with the speaker not working. absolutely disgusted with sony and its sudden collapse in quality

it's more of a camera than a phone. keypad isnt tt fantastic though, but if u are taking pictures every so often, it's something to consider.

yes there were issues with the front slider flexes on the first batch released - SE didnt put a spacer in. all the new ones have this spacer so they are less prone to the no inbound speech thing.
you're *never* going to get a phone that's perfect out of the box. nothing tests a handset as much as putting it in the hands of the general user base.
i have this phone as my main handset and find the camera awesome (even if the flash is a little too bright at times), the web browseer nice and quick, the gps is fun (i dont drive so dont need full satnav), the mp3 player is typically good SE quality, it is a stunning phone and well worth the price.

Well obv their GPS is SUX,
only work on google map and u will see HUGE GPRS payment.
so far no luck with any other program can get lock on GPS sat without GPRS.
i feel So MUCH cheated.

tayyab, 20 Apr 2009thnxx dude..& wt abt the sound quality is it better then samsung innov8 i8510???Well i didn't listen to the sound on innov8 but with the default headphones the sound is very good with the megabass, i changed to a cx300 seinheiser and the sound quality is just fabulous...
