I love this phone! Just bought it 2 months ago and I'm very satisfied with the specs. Not like any other phones, C905 for me is the best! It provides me everything I need...Scrap the battery issue. Ain't true. I love listening to my playlist A LOT and battery lasts for 2 days.
i would like to know if this sony ericsson c905 has motion gaming. please help me
Hey Guys!!! I will buy this phone within a week. I had kept in mind about the battery problem, so I would buy an extra battery with a 4 GB M2 card. Wish me luck that I just find this phone!!!! BTW I used Nokia N70 ME and Nokia 5500 Sports. And frankly, I am fed up with Nokia. I thought that I would buy the N 96, but it lacks so many features. Anyways, BYE!!!
husi, 05 Apr 2009hey can anyone plz temme that is it a symbian phone.? can it install symbian 3rd party applica... moreHi, it depends what you will be using the phone for business or entertainment? I got the pixon and the c905 a few months ago and I used Pixon for a week and it's been sitting in my glove compartment ever since.
In my opinion Pixon's camera is not as good c905's (even though they are both listed as nearly the same). Also, Pixon cannot connect to your home/work network, meaning that you have to pay for internet usage all the time. C905 allows you to use a free network at home or in the office...
The worst thing about the Pixon was that if you have hundreds of contacts like I do than you will have to scroll each individual or scroll to the first letter of the person's name and then find them, not an easy task if one has a few dozen contacts starting with the same letter. The whole process is done with a finger as you do not get a stylus with the Pixon.
C905 also has a better speaker and is much quicker to use, especially if you are driving.
As for the symbian applications, se is running on their own operating system and symbian applications normally should not work with se.
In relation to Nokia, n95 or n95 - 8gb is the best choice as I also have those phones. Having said that I recently tested n96 and in a period of 3 weeks I had to exchange it twice as it was full of bugs. Another thing to remember is that some of the applications that nokia sells as extras come in with the se. You also get nicer themes on the se but you have to pay for them.
If I were to decide which one of the three to go for I would choose c905 as this is the phone I currently use.
I hope this was helpful.
hey can anyone plz temme that is it a symbian phone.? can it install symbian 3rd party applications like nokia does?? applications like advnced device lock, msdictionary, rotateme..etc..
if no thn what kind of applications does it support.?
n which one to buy, pixon or se c905 or nokia n85 ??
I like this phone so much!!!!
the only problem with this phone is the keypad. it easily gets "flattened" that it is hard to press.
Anonymous, 04 Apr 2009GPS - does it mean it has navigation?GPS - Global Positioning System
Yeah it has Maps and Satellite Navigation.
GPS - does it mean it has navigation?
I wonder why GSMArena states that the c905 has a secondary camera.
MP4 files works well with this one. you will just have to convert it according to your screen size.
already got my SEC905 for a month now... so far no problem... WW46 batch copper gold in color... very fast connection thru wifi, google map access is superb and real-time =) already updated the firmware... pictures were amazing! my colleagues wanted to buy this unit as well ^_^ told them to wait for Idou 12.1meg phone lol. already downloaded some apps.. opera mini web browser works best here... for messenger application, using yamee mobile...
downside? battery life is way too short (although when i am on wifi mode, its pretty acceptable though), Xenon flash really eat up huge battery charges. but all in all, I am really satisfied.. hopefully SE could do some upgrades in batteries for high end phones... ^_^
hi, just got the c905. it seems like a good phone.
I installed the synch software on my lap top but I cannot import contacts from outlook or my old nokia. I can do it by bluetooth, but it will take hours to copy and install over 900 contacts.
Does anyone have any tips as to how I can import those contacts in a timely fashion?
I am using 32bit, o/s windows 7.

Aiden, 31 Mar 2009Hey everyone. Yesterday was the day I was able to call O2 for an upgrade and at the minute I'm... moreExactly the same situation I was in mate. Had K850i - repaired so much that I demanded a replacement model. Got the C905 and it was shocking. Broke in several different ways (speaker, screen - lots of things)
Was due for an upgrade last month and thought sod this. Now have a Nokia which works perfectly.
SE - designers of excellent concepts, just shocking at actually producing ones that work.
I work for tech support and we have loads of phones coming back with the speaker fault. We have contacted Sony about this and they said there was no such fault!!
It's a common issue. If you try it on loudspeaker/headphones and it works this shows you it is a speaker issue (as these bypass the speaker).
Can somebody please answer these 2 questions, really would appreciate:
1) Can this phone be locked with a password to prevent ppl from playing around with your phone and checking your messages, as an example? i'm not talking about the phone lock whne you restart the phone which appears after one enters your SIM PIN. I'm talking about a password to protect from unauthorized access when your phone is myabe lying on a desk or whatever.
2) is there a document viewer software available to download somewhere for this phone or any other SE phone?
Really need to know these 2 things.
Please answer - thanks in advance :)
had my c905 since december and is away getting repaired for 2nd time, when working is great phone have heard online that it is certain batches that have a problem
