hi, just got the c905. it seems like a good phone.
I installed the synch software on my lap top but I cannot import contacts from outlook or my old nokia. I can do it by bluetooth, but it will take hours to copy and install over 900 contacts.
Does anyone have any tips as to how I can import those contacts in a timely fashion?
I am using 32bit, o/s windows 7.

Over 2600' games, java,3d,mobile windows games and more... games are free to download on your pc then just transfer games on your phone, you will need winrar program (free on internet to download btw) for some games to un zipp them. i alredy have over 250 great games on my c-905 memory card...

Had K850i - repaired so much that I demanded a replacement model. Got the C905 and it was shocking. Broke in several different ways (speaker, screen - lots of things)
Was due for an upgrade last month and thought sod this. Now have a Nokia which works perfectly.
SE - designers of excellent concepts, just shocking at actually producing ones that work.

I work for tech support and we have loads of phones coming back with the speaker fault. We have contacted Sony about this and they said there was no such fault!!
It's a common issue. If you try it on loudspeaker/headphones and it works this shows you it is a speaker issue (as these bypass the speaker).

Can somebody please answer these 2 questions, really would appreciate:
1) Can this phone be locked with a password to prevent ppl from playing around with your phone and checking your messages, as an example? i'm not talking about the phone lock whne you restart the phone which appears after one enters your SIM PIN. I'm talking about a password to protect from unauthorized access when your phone is myabe lying on a desk or whatever.
2) is there a document viewer software available to download somewhere for this phone or any other SE phone?
Really need to know these 2 things.

had my c905 since december and is away getting repaired for 2nd time,when working is great phone have heard online that it is certain batches that have a problem

REPAIR FEE MAYB AROUND RM50++.. no need to worry bout it.. diz hp nt a vry good hp 4 me.. the only good is da camera mp only.. also too big,, graphic also nt so good,,

When someone calls me i j... moresame with me, I checked their service center in SM North Edsa the big problem now is that there aren't much parts for this handset model and it would take a week just for the end user to find wether the parts are available or not. The software update that SE is bragging won't be much of help either. Doesn't fix any glitch in the phone at all. What's worst is that you'll have to wait for an entire month just to find out wether the phone has been fixed. In some un-accounted statements from other c905 users, The phone after being "fixed" suddenly gets broken (by the same problem or with another problem) GSM Arena should address this problem consumers are having with this model.

but lately my dowwn butto... moreI have the down button problem within 2weeks of my purchase.. Makes me frustrated.. The down button is faulty & by pressing donw, it will exit my application..
However, SE service center fix it within 5days with hardware changed..It's working fine now..

but lately my dowwn button which is used too scroll has stopped wrkin.. ppl in de shop say its a small prob and can be fixed easily
any one els has dis prob???

I've exactly the same problem. I've emailed my supplier, who isn't the phone company, so am awaiting their response!
I'm interested in anyone with the same problem. My phone company (Orange) told me it wasn't specifically to this model.

I saw this SE C905 when i went to sony shop and i was really glued to the looks of it. Now im thinking of buying this phone cuz of its great MP camera. I just want to know if which is better in every functions the k810i, w902 or this C905. Im just confuse cuz i dont want to regret it later. Pleas help...

What is the correct CDA for C905 to have the SMS-chat???
I tried "1214-7311" but still cant update using SEUS.
However, I'm using version1.03 for the A2 CDA file Generator. Any problem by using this because most of the guides are using v1.05 which I can't download.
My phone version is showing 1208-0527 R1DA032 090204.
Does it helps in any way??
