Many theories has been postulated substantiating this idea. . After that , it needs full charging when it shows 10-15% . Follow this for some 1-2 months , then the battery gives its optimum performance . P.S 3G consumes more battery than usual. Select gsm only mode when 3g is not in use

The phone locates the towers around it and on the basis of signal from each one, triangulate and locates the position.
Its almost perfect in cities as there will be multiple towers within a short range.
The negative side is when in places with low network strength and only one tower, it shows innacurate location and if there is no network it won't work.
Not equal to gps, but worth, considering the price range.
The geo-tag feature in cedar also work in the same principle.

I know that Cedar does not have GPS, but in last week when I was out of Delhi and was roaming I found that Google Maps in Cedar was perfectly pointing out my locations.
I want to know how the Google Maps works in Cedar? Which technology is being used here?
It's a good replacement for GPS in low end phones.

Hi Cedarians.. I recently purchased this magnificent cedar. All features are reasonable and good. java app support really rockz in this phone!! The problem i have is regarding the battery backup time of cedar.. it seems to get battery drained very quickly after some amount of multimedia use or internet surfing 3g & 2g (about 1 hour) which makes the battery status go to about 40-50% after full charge. is this normal for a brand new cedar battery?? iv also heard in the comments section that initially the battery needs some cycles to complete to give maximum performance, if so how many approximate cycle charge? do i have a defective battery ?? any help would be appreciated !!!

yes you right dude,because this is a remanent patch not the permanent ones,the patches will close automatically every 10 minute and you need to run jjpatcher again to show the patch again,sorry dude in ur number 2 question,i cant answered it because i never used an acount email in my phone via message folder,but i used it via operamini 6 handler ui200,great respect and thankfully to mr.handler

Hi friends, pls which camdriver is good for modding the camera of se cedar so as to improve camera the picture quality by removing jpeg compression. The one I used didn't improve the picture quality. Also what is the usefulness of patching. Is anyone having youtube downloader application for direct video download from youtube. Thanks.
