There will be one option " INTERNET CONNECTION" in pc companion.

I don't create a separate dial-up connection from network connection.
I connect internet via SE pc companion only, sometimes APN in default connections in Pc companion are wrong , so i try to create manually in SE pc companion itself. ( APN and dial up number *99#)
I use airtel 3G and bsnl 3G where pc companion automatically recognizes operator and connection settings for respective operators.

Download SE pc companion from the below link htt... moreya, i did that for idea. i went to network connections in control pannel and did all this. it asked isp number,i typed *99# , but while dialing up, an error is being displayed "error- the protocol has been terminated". this error did not come in bsnl, but what is all this, is this 'manual connection' the only way to get connected?

APN ( access point name) for idea is internet
APN for bsnl is bsnlnet

Rajib, 10 Jun 2011Among sony cedar and sony naire.Which 3g speed is better???Cedar is better but many choose naite cause it has a video call camera and comfort button, but its also depends on ur internet service provider, if u have 7.2mbps modem but ur isp only cover 3.1 for instance, u only get max 3.1 internet speed.
