The update depends on the speed of internet connection .. Just click repair if update doesnt work.. It will solve issue on you phone at the same time it will update your phone latest firmware..

Hey frnds .
Pls help me . I have heard that in any other brand except nokia , downloading big files ( about 30 mb ) is not easy . Smtines link is lost and smtimes errers . Doest it happen in sony cedar .

hi guys pls help me out iam unable to update my phone i don't knw what to do? here you all to knw wht i did when i tried update my phone.
1. doenloaded pc companion frm SE site & installed it into pc
2.connected my phone to pc via nokia CA-101d usb cable
3.and i dowloaded another update service setup frm SE site
4.after i selecting update option in pc companion start phase was fine ,prepare phase was also fine but update phase its taking more time around 1hr but only halfway bar finished so i jst canceled the updating. twice i tried to update my phone but i couldnt so pls help me wht to do.

Anonymous, 26 May 2011nope, that doesnt happen to me. everything is perfectly fine with my phone im just confused wi... moreFor me the more accurate indicator to show the battery full is if the phone was turned off while charging. It's stopped only after it shows "fully charged" (when you push any button).
Recharging the battery after it reached its critical level (5 - 10%) as a habit imo only makes the charging time longer, will not be helping to optimise the battery life. It's might be useful in the initial charge for the battery to use all the chemicals it has and to calibrate the device power meter, but doing this daily or oftenly is time wasting, the battery will only start charging a couple of minutes (about 30 min) after you plugged the battery charger. To me the good practices are charge the battery often and sometimes I use my phone while on charging. And when I used it outdoors (have no charger with me) I could used my phone (Hazel) with medium usage for 2 - 2.5 days until the batt capacity left 15 - 25%.

you won't believe that it's giving to me 4 days battery backup while listening music everyday upto 5 hrs and talking over gsm atleast 1 hr/day

If not then ... morenope, that doesnt happen to me. everything is perfectly fine with my phone im just confused with how long i should keep it plugged it in the charger. i only charge my phone when it becomes 5% w/c is the time that the low bat thing appears. both time i did it same settings didnt do anything nor change anything

If not then you should see when the time the phone is fully charged the screen will glow for few seconds then turns back off.
Also always as the essential part in optimising the battery life is how you did the initial battery charge for the first few days when the phone was a brand new. Doing this properly would significantly improve the battery life.
Other things to keep the battery life longer are such as not turn the bluetooth, wi-fi, gps on when not in use.

guys i need a little help on this im confused as to what 100% achraging actually means or rather how i know if my phone has been fully charged. this is what i noticed:
one time i was charging my phone and when it was already at 100% after about just 13 mins i unplugged it and about 10 mins later the battery was already 96%.
the other time i was charging it, it too was already at 100% and after about 30mins only then did i unplug it. after about 10 mins also the battery was only at 99%.
will there be an indicator that the phone has been fully charged? if not about how long do i keep it plugged it when it reaches the "charging: 100%" status on the info?
