Which should i buy? I have decided to buy elm but when i read comments about cedar, i got confused. Here's my needs or priority in order:
1. 3g speed.
2. Fast and reliable UI and never or hangs only occassionally.
3. Good music player and sound quality.
4. Camera has rich and and realistic photos.
Pls somebody share their views.

tolemacho, 17 May 2011i am choosing between cedar and corby II, can anyone suggest what should i buy?I think you should go for cedar. Corby doesn't support external themes , many java apps , have slow internet , not geo-tagging, google maps , after filling little memory phone becomes slow, not 3G .cedar contains eco- friendly material, very good battery life, voice memo, very good sound quality, support all java apps, themes, games

tolemacho, 17 May 2011i am choosing between cedar and corby II, can anyone suggest what should i buy?Just think abt it- corby 2 has 240*320 resolution for a 3.2 touchscreen which makes it's screen very pathetic.
Resolution in 3.2 inch screen should be at least 320*480.
Morover having an experience of older corby I would say speed of corby is extremely slow.
Even if we add 40-50 images in gallery of corby it takes ages to open.
Corby doesn't have multitasking, it doesn't have extra themes support, doesn't have 3G HSDPA(7.2 mbps), doesn't have full java apps support, doesn't have unlimited msg storage, doesn't have Google maps and many other preinstalled apps.
All these things I mentioned come in cedar btw... and morover price of corby is little higher than cedar.

Harsh, 17 May 2011Hey, Mr.Wreck. I'm using both Naite and Cedar and compratively I like naite more than Cedar... moreThis is what I feel - in two things(battery life and loudspeaker) Naite is better but in all other things Cedar's performance is better.

Whereas, corby support's Wi-Fi and have a bluetooth of 3.0v.
At last Cedar comes with a brand name of S.E. with gr8 services and products.
And if u deal with smasung, products are not that much good and services are horrible for products.
I sufferd with Samsung and would suggest u to go with Cedar one of the best of S.E.

Though Cedar is a good handset, but can't beat Naite.

But, its too old., 2008 phone, very very limited availablity. Components wont be available in case of damage.
Supports 4gb only, no 3g and defenitely pricier than cedar, belongs to c5's range.
If this is a 2008 and if you got the budget, then thumbs up for zn5, but this aint 2008.
So cedar would be better.

Its the best choice in 5000rs segment.
When it comes to playing videos it can take out touch phones like corby, and match with 5233,c6... (Not screen size, but resolution)
s40s and java phones like samsung, moto, lg..with qvga (240x320) display, Can support only 240x320 or 320x240 videos maximum..
Where as cedar can play vga videos too... ie; 640x480.
Besides it supports hd style videos too.
360x640 (5230,c6,n8 display resolution), 300x580, 288x420... Any resolution under or 640x480/480x640 is a go.

Check wether it supports usb charging. Charging the phone when plugged to a pc via usb cable.
If updated it should be capable of that.

Harsh, 16 May 2011Naite is awesome maaannnn.........No naite is not good than cedar.
Cedar got the latest 2011 updated sony java interface used in elm, zylo...
Video clarity is best in cedar.
Cedar got walkman 4.0.
Cedar got micro usb and 3.5mm sockets.
Naite uses micron MT9D113 2mp sensor where as cedar uses more upgraded and top quality 2mp sensor than that. (doesnt know its name, but comparatively cedar looked best).
Naite video records at 1248kbps max bitrate whereas cedar can produce 1480kbps videos.
The only thing naite has over cedar is the front camera.
Naite is better than x2 and c2-01 but not better than cedar.
