arwin, 03 Mar 2011i can even play video files 480 360 resolution. And the video was clear and audio was good..thanksI have not updated my phone software to the latest one.
So maybe that's why I can't play videos above the resolution 320*240.
I will update & inform if that's possible after the update.

For best result, dont recharge the battery until it turns off itself, n try not to do any activity when its capacity lower than 5% (see it by pressing vol button while phone is in standby)

sulabh singh, 02 Mar 2011i have only one week old cedar,its battry backup is very poor hardly 40 hours on standby,its ... moreMax. battery time would be achieved after the 3rd-4th charging. Then make sure ur phone is not running any background app task, widget, or data transfer via internet either bluetooth. Just check those icons beside the signal meter.
My cedar batt lasts up to 3days in that stdby mode, with 2G network.

How do you make it play a video with subtitles? I tried renaming the .srt file so that the srt file and the video have the same names but when i select subtitles while playing the video it says currently unavailable!! Help please!

If u still have problem than re-install the software of the phone. It will definitely solve the problem.

Bought cedar last saturday.Its My 3rd phone, 2nd frm sony (prev w200) , 2nd phone in 6 months (nokia x2).. Reason for upgrade, terrible and snappy s40 interface and ovi player.
Here is my review
Good phone for multimedia and watching videos.
Got better video playback and recording clarity than x2.
Feeble speaker sound around 63db, but awesome audio clarity than x2 72db.
Connecting external speakers in both and cedar really wipes out x2 with megabass, really great stuff. Netfront browser faster than x2's stock browser.
really missng LED Flash ,great advantage in x2.
2mp camera stands out with great background light adjustment a feature lacking in x2.
Overall if you want to hear music through speaker buy some external speakers. If you hear through headset this is the best multimedia phone in 5000 range.
