Sony Ericsson Cedar this is an excellent 3G Cheap Mobile purchased yesterday. Camera quality is ok not good but video MP4 play back quality is excellent. sound quality is good both speaker and head phones. with in Rs5000/- range value for money go go buy.

Use "sinus" as message alert
Use "sony ericsson" as ringtone
And use "jump street" as alarm
They loud enough even for insensitive ears.

As far as i use the cedar up to now, no problem at all. Indeed the alarm is not so loud to wake the person up from very dream. I ever missed the slip of cedar handset but still tough in condition. I swear i did unintentionally about that. The real problem or real weakness of Soner's HP that i've used for 3 years it is about casing of handset rarely or never found in local or non-local stocks of casing. I hate it!! But i like music and speed of stable network

2. My phone rings. I don't know what's wrong with ur phone. Try changing the settings for alarm.
3. My phone plays all the songs in continuous loop. When we select many songs at a time than all of those songs r played continuously after switching on loop.
4. Many apps r not shown in application folder itself like Track id, sound recorder, google maps etc.

i face the following problems -
1. every time i set delivery time to send an sms, it changes to mms
2. though i set alarm for tasks/reminders and birthday notifications, it doesn’t ring
3. i can play a single song in continuous loop
4. i haven’t downloaded any applications to the phone yet, but when i check the phone memory status, the application folder shows 22 files where as there are only 10 files present in the phone
