Here my experience with my new Sony Ericsson Cedar, after 1 year happy usage of my Samsung Corby I want to shift back to basics (Basic Phone with good looks). After a little online research I ended up with Cedar, It’s looking not only good but it’s beautiful :),
I have bought it in India, Hyderabad for Rs: 5200/- (It’s really good deal).
My experience:
Looks great even it’s not a touch phone
Good User interface.
3G Support.
Comes with 2GB micro SD, Good quality earphones
Good quality of Music experience (Not outstanding as my previous phone Samsung Corby).
If you really want no nonsense phone go for it. It’s a cool non flashy / touch screen phone :)
I will not recommend this phone if you are looking for a very good music experience, Samsung Corby is giving better quality at this price :|

[deleted post]Yeah thats right the audio quality is very good its better than nokia phones like 5130 x2 and x3...to people who are planning to buy cedar-- just go to a sony outlet near you and find out for yourself check out the sound quality, camera and then buy it... there are some liars in this forum dont waste ur time listening to them.

Not only nokia 6303 lacks the crucial multitasking but it doesn't have many of the very useful features that cedar has like - 3G HSDPA 7.2mbps ,video calling ,preloaded google maps ,much better internal memory ,on screen widgets ,music call ,sense me ,megabass ,track id ,preloaded facebook,twitter,myspace apps(specially designed for se phones) ,better sound quality( u can compare sound quality of 6303 or 6303i with x2 from gsmarena reviews which reveals that both have almost same sound quality & techtree says that cedar has better sound quality than x2 ,so it means that cedar has better sound quality than both 6303i and x2) ,better video rec. qvga@15fps.

This site says that sound quality of cedar is better than nokia x2(xpress music phone) ,camera is comparable to 5mpx camera of x2 ,screen is really nice & clear.
U just can't fool everyone by ur lame & baseless comments.

Dont even think of buying samsung except their smartphones

one week ago i buy cedar. This firmware i got R7DA052 but now latest firmware R7DA062 in seus, are user know the changelogs??? Any diferent in sound? This sound very2 absolutely low...please answer. Here in indnesia.

And when playing MP4 / 3GP, the screen becomes pixelate.
Don't forget, camera is really awful.
