Maybe it's cheap plastic but I have dropped it like 4-5 times on hard floor & it's still working extremely fine.
Same has been my experience with se naite. I'm having it from almost a yr & dropped it at least 10-12 times on hard surface (one time it fell from the roof) & it's working fine still now.
That's why I use cedar & naite for careless use.
For msgs - cedar can hold unlimited msgs.
It's only limited by available memory. Phone memory is 250+ mb in actual use & memory card is upto 16gb expandable. U can select any memory to save msgs.
                        So practically it's unlimited.
I'm having 3200+ msgs in cedar.

what i liked on 6303i is the Flash, very usable at night. its metal body, i ofter drop my phone. i hope cedar would survive, i think its made with cheap plastic.. and 6303i can store 1000+ messages on different set of folders, haven't reached 1000+ text msgs yet on my cedar since its only 3 days old. i hope for 1000+ messages.

Drams, 21 Dec 2010OMG i made a mistake in buying Cedar!!!!! i like Cedar but i was browsing through nokia phones... moreNo, you did not. The price tells what you get. 6303i is US $40 higher than Cedar and for this extras you'll get 3.2Mp auto focus camera + LED, smaller internal memory 55 Mb and no 3G/HSPA connection. And older java platform.

It depends on what you need most from your phone.

                                Comparison between cedar & 6303i -
These r the things which u get in cedar but not in 6303i -
280mb internal memory ,video rec. at qvga@15fps , Multitasking ,3G HSDPA 7.2mbps ,video calling ,social networking sites preloaded & directly accessible from homescreen , preloaded google maps ,music call ,sense me ,drafts option in msg menu (6303i doesn't have drafts option)
In 6303i opera mini 4 is preloaded & phone doesn't allow to upgrade to 5.1 or downgrade to 3 but in cedar u can upgrade or downgrade to any version available.
In cedar almost every java app runs smoothly but nokia s40 platform doesn't support a major portion of java apps.
6303i users r reporting hanging & crashing issues but cedar runs perfectly smooth.
Only thing better in 6303i is camera & also 6303i is a little bit costlier than cedar.
