In every review of Naite it was said that display quality is brilliant & almost 99% of customers have agreed to it & if u don't believe it then go to Naite's user comments.
If u still say that cedar's display is not good then it means that u r refusing which reviewers & users r saying.
And as I have already pointed out "cedar's display quality=Naite's display quality "

The bigger & clearer the screen gets the low quality videos look more worse on them.
When I used to download videos compatible with my nokia 3230 they looked pretty well on 3230 but when I bought N81 and played the same compatible videos on it they looked completely worse.
Try playing mp4 videos with 320*240 resolution on cedar ,
then u will come to know the quality of cedar's screen.
BTW...
I recorded some videos with cedar & transferred in my friend's 7230 and u know what... ? 7230 couldn't play the videos.
That means a 2.4 inch screen of nokia with 16 million colours couldn't play a video which a 2.2 inch screen with 256k of SE can play without any lagging.
It means that cedar got a better screen.

YesterdayI I bought both cedar and naite for me and my bro from mobile store and both the phones are really mindblowing and fantastic the camera quality is very good sound quality is same in both the phone does'nt hang anywhere and breezes through internet plays youtube videos very nicely both cedar and naite are masterpices from sony dont hesitate go for it from delhi

Convert it into 3gp file with the best possible setting, then play it with cedar.
You want so much to like it, but the fact just won't lie :)

Saurabh, 28 Oct 2010Ya abhi u r rite ,display quality depends upon resolution to screen size ratio ..and for 2.2 s... moreI have the same 3gp file. First i played it at 5320, it just fine. Then i played it at cedar, it was awful.
I'm not comparing, but the fact just can't lie.

sush, 29 Oct 2010hi, sony cedar doesn't have a secondary cam while sony j105 naite does. j105 is a much better buy.Dont forget it has that annoying fast port and its 3g data transfer rate is much slower than cedar...so if you ask me cedar is a much better buy...

i like the looks of cedar. And i dnt need much of secondary cam. I want to buy either naite or cedar. Bt m confused.

radec, 28 Oct 2010Display only 256K, not good enough for playing multimedia. It's like playing small resolution ... more240*320 is gr8 resolution for 2.2 screen n in small screen with more resoluion thins get clear n clear as the ratio of size to res decreases..

Check out Naite reviews.
In every review it was mentioned that despite having 256k screen it is absolutely brilliant.
Naite was said to have the best screen in its price range & even more & cedar has exactly same display quality.
I am completely sure bcoz I have both the phones.
So STOP comparing phones just on the basis of specifications.

bt x3 nd 6233 that i use hv 256 k only. Videos play good on this phone
