Gio, 19 Jun 2010Why does it look like a nokia? Sony Ericsson has no imagination anymore? And from the image o... moreactually interface is very different, AND nokia is the one immitating the shaped of sony ericsson handsets, you mught to take a look at x5-001. shape is just like aspen hazel elm and cedar,
I'm waiting for this kind of phone from SE! I like this! I need 2 units ASAP. I like simple, candybar, elegant phones with features like this. "Nokia-ish" to be exact! lol
A great no nonsense phone with lots of features for general use. Looking forward to this one.
how come no flash or AF, even if its a 1.3MP flash and AF makes a huge diference. I am an SE fan but I got one out the SE train. . . SE is disappointing these days. Anyone ever used d F305 wil know what I mean
Why does it look like a nokia?
Sony Ericsson has no imagination anymore? And from the image on the screen it even looks like the menu from a nokia.Tis is VERRY SAD.If I want a nokia i'll buy a nokia, but I want a Sony Ericsson:(
Venom, 18 Jun 2010so is 3 MPx and 5MPx,but still they're ok for midrange devices, but for low end 2MPx is goodActually I think you're quite right. The pictures my old Samsung takes with it's 1.3 MP are quite passable, 2MP is a step higher and it's Sony Ericsson, after all.
Reviewer, 18 Jun 2010if X8 will be less than 200 euros then this will be 120 euros or lessprobably even less than that
Bob, 18 Jun 2010It seems the discussion never ends. To say that a 2MP camera is outdated is not accusing, it's... moreso is 3 MPx and 5MPx,but still they're ok for midrange devices, but for low end 2MPx is good
simply the copy of g502 with widget manager... so simple to look....
Absolutely superb model. But the price only can decide the market... i am very eager to buy it...

To say that a 2MP camera is outdated is not accusing, it's a plain fact, my friend, 3 or 5 MP is very usual on today's feature phones. This thread is about SE Cedar, not about Nokia or Samsung or something else, so my comment here was about what I think of SE Cedar not something else. As it happens some of my best phones have been SE's, so it's a bit unfair to accuse me of prejudice. Stay cool:)

Bob, 16 Jun 2010Simple phones should have a flash/flashlight. Lack of flashlight is SE Naite's problem too. Fl... moreIf the 2 MP camera is outdated, why don't you accuse other manufacturers as well, such as Nokia, Samsung and LG? All of them have entry level phones with such "outdated" cameras, and nobody accuses them of producing crap phones. It seems to me you have a prejudice against Sony Ericsson -- that's it, my friend!!
At first look, I through the phone to the wall.....but I am now impressed...Not bad actually. Pretty basic phone and with reasonable apps. I am not fond of mobile cameras or high end technologies....It could be the perfect match for me.. I dont know that why SE doesnt release their greenheart series in Bangladesh. its the only problem....for me only.
Anonymous, 16 Jun 2010its a gr8 entry level phone go and criticize galaxy its have 5mp camera and no flashh lozlz... moreMaybe I was a bit harsh, but many high-endish phones aren't very practical, so I think comparing Galaxy with Cedar isn't quite appropriate. I totally agree that camera flash isn't a nessecity on phones (it's any use for taking pictures when it's xenon anyway), but flashlight is always welcome feature when we're talking simple, useful, practical everyday phones. Many low-end phones have flashlight, but if you want some other features too, it's not very easy to find suitable phone on the market. Anyway, I did say Cedar is a nice phone:)
