If I can get speeds of 219kbps on edge then I would be happy ... moreMe in indonesia, with this speed of 2G connection - and the availability of 3G almost in every main cities - there are still many people complain to the providers that their connection sucks !! Maybe i'm just lucky that my home is near to the cell towers, hm...

- 349.345 kbps on 3G network
- 219.78 kbps on GSM (I must be in EDGE coverage since this value is very high for GPRS connection, even if the phone's showing "G" instead "E" ?)
Note that the speed results might be faster if running the test by downloading bigger size KB - 1MB or 2MB.

My Hazel scored 1143 kbps by downloading 100KB, would be more accurate if try it with bigger size KB.

Finally got my new Cedar yesterday! A bit pricey here in Thailand, costs ฿ 2790 or US$ 89.
I'm overall satisfied with this. The only drawbacks are display and speaker. Display is quite dim even in 100% brightness and loudspeaker is not loud.

Theoretically the hardware s... moreI have also tested the speeds at suburban parts of my city at my friends houses with best signal receptions and the speed was almost the same 20-25kbps constant and only sometimes its touched 30kbps or more, i.e. 99 percent its 20-25kbps and only 1 percent 30kbps or more.
So practically advantage is nil.
Its result of the Networks bottlenecks rather than Cedar's bottleneck.
And mind you that I have tested it with Nokia edge 32 phone, Samsung galaxy phone and Cedar.
So to take advantage of EDGE 32 phones you need EDGE 32 capable networks, which looks dream for now.
Presently using an EDGE 32 phone is just like using a 3G phone in a non-3G network.
