phone is awesome for net n great camera n sound..
regarding restart problem.. me too experienced the same..
just Do a "MASTER RESET" from settings menu..

everything will be fine..
there is no new firmware available..
i told to upgrade the same at service centre but its the same when i bought the phone in nov 2008..

better to go for master reset after which ("Make sure to remove MEMORY CARD") restarting problem will vanish like anything..

if it takes too long for restarting after u keep it for reset .. wait for 15-20 minutes then remove the battery n put it again n start the phone
hope this will be helpful

vaasu, 05 Sep 2009waste phone, very delicate, very slow and hanging frequently, no flash. My G502 is robust rather than delicate, and its NOT slow - even with a full 4BG M2 memory card in it. Yes, it occasionally hangs - but that's pretty rare. Free up as much of the 32mb internal memory as you can by transferring all that you can to the memory card and make sure the phone has the latest firmware. It has a brilliant modem, sound and V2 bluetooth with stereo A2DP.

Albert, 27 Aug 2009This model is uncomfortable.Because many times hank. This mobile only accept to 512MB memory. ... more512mb??? My G502 works perfectly with a 4 GB M2 card. ANother, often overlooked, advantage of the G502 is that unlike Nokia E-series smartphones with qwerty keyboards, the G502 isn't such a thief magnet. My E61 got stolen while I was in hospital :( - so I'm glad I've still got and use my G502 although I am getting both another E61 and a E75. But the G502 is still going to be a major phone for me.

i was waiting a smart java phone with 600 mhz of processor, 128 MB of RAM.
