Ian, 14 Jul 2009yes i agree with you,, the sound quality is better than w910i! i dont know for what you reall... moreguys, do not use the update service of sony ericsson. it will only say that you have the latest firmware even if yours is just r1fa031. the latest now is r1fa037. to upgrade your firmware, you have to use a2uploader, not the se update service.

Camera quality was better. Battery backup poor and i hav hanging and restarting automaticaly.

i've display problem. i cant see anything in my cell's display.
Is there a way to copy data from phone memory to memory card ? (keep in mind that i cant see any options in my display)

which setting are you asking me to change
please help me out..may be because of the settings i m unable to get a better sound quality.
and there is one more problem,i.e,i hv transfrd all d messages to memory card but now when i m trying to move those messages to my laptop via the data cable.,i m unable to do that.

Vicky, 11 Jul 2009Well, that was what I did and it seems that the software is still the same, R1FA031. Serio... moretry updating it again,, my G502 also has the same software RFA031 but it is still hanging & restarting,, then i update it,, still the softwarwe was RFA031 but the hanging & restarting issue disapear,,, mine now is fine,, no hanging until now,,,

yogesh, 11 Jul 2009pls check the setting b4 posting like this. Its has a decent sound qualityyes i agree with you,, the sound quality is better than w910i! i dont know for what you really mean by poor sound quality,, maybe you need hearing aid not upgrade harharhar!!!

first time i buy this phone, i think it sucks.. it hangs about 2 or 3 times a day..
but try the R1FA037 update... after that, all the problem are gone away.. try it!

Ian, 09 Jul 2009antony,, i also experienced the same problem you & youre girlfriend about this phone,, but now... moreWell, that was what I did and it seems that the software is still the same, R1FA031.
Seriously, this phone is a pile of sh!t. I agree, for its price, the specs are good... Even my g502 camera is great and at times, the pictures would be so crystal clear and better than any other SE phones. The sound is great as well.
BUT, it hangs very very often and restarts frequently. It's like you have to check this phone every 10 minutes and so just to ensure that your phone is not switched off automatically. A USELESS PHONE!

Camera is good when its photos are viewed in the mobile screen. But it is too bad when transfer to the PC monitor. I really hate the camera quality. I like the internet browsing experience only of the phone.
