BUT ... moreMake sure the G3 icon is not shown in the upper line which means the headset is set to operate in the G3 network. It will increase battery consumption enormously, more so when your provider does not offer G3 at all. In the network options choose GSM, and standby time will increase up to five times. :)

I own this phone and its good in this price range only problem is its silver keys pells off.

oh theres a lot of complaints abt ds phone.guyz i recommend that u get k660i instead of ds one..k660i is a lot lot better than g502

Did you really use video call? i don't think so.. 3G is for internet browsing.

Dont read 2 much these comments most are biased. Listen to people who own the mobile like me.

your standards are to high for a $200 phone.

We need a better features than W series.G502 is not satisfying upto my expectations.(for my frnds )Better struck in wseries don't move to G502.>

I have had this phone for one week now, and i already consider to sell it... It's not that slow as i thought it would be, but the sound quality is veryyy poor! Messaging interface is not nice, and it makes noisy when i press on the keys, thats annoying. The handset is light, which makes it feel like cheap, at least thats what i think.

Anonymous, 01 Nov 2008Hi, to all G502 users. I am considering this phone as a replacement for my K610 because of it... moredon't change. I did change from k610i to g502 and I regret it until now!
