one more imp thing about cameras,

SE has 3 phones equipped with 5MP
K850, C902,G900

Nokia also has 3 phones with 5MP
N95,N82,N96

so each of the comapnies has 3 phones with 5 MP in their portfolio

I don't understand why ppl keep complaining

go for the phone what you want.

thats totally wrong arnab, there are many sony ericsson phones with 5 MP lined up, there is nothing that sony ericsson can't do, don't try to just put your opinions on behalf of sony ericsson when you don't know the truth.

SE can't move to more mega pixels camera in cellphones because it will impact their cybershot cams. Cybershot cam sales will dip if they start bundling the same camera in a cell phone.

Is 5mpx camera really hard for SE to do? I min, i really love SE, but in terms of advancement for a better camera, they should start giving consideration. They hardly produce even the 3.2mpx camfone. Most of their fones are stuck to 2mpx only. And i hope they can make 16m tft screens also. In fairness to SE, their 256k color screen is well done, so i guess it would be even great if they'll step a lil more to 16m tft screen.. Just keep moving forward SE.

To 04{T sorry for the earlier comment. I'm not a hater or anything as I own a SE K800i which is a great phone. It's just that I feel there is hardly any innovation from SE these days. I have picked up and tried this phone and the keypad and weight is very nice. But I wish if Google Maps is installed it has a GPS receiver to give it something a bit extra.

Guys, if ever that you'll be in the market for this type of industry...what you will have to target are the different levels or tiers/range of people that will use it.

Such as this, the phone is meant to target low-mid range, meaning that the features might be the same, design may vary at some point but to other people, this is already like hitting a jackpot for them.

If you are targeting high-end phones with 5mpix cams, touch screen or wlan or what have you...try looking on other models that would actually fit your taste! and from there you can place your opinions, don't expect that if SE, nokia, Samsung, motorolla releases new phones, just expect that each model are meant for different tiers.

If still, it doesn't suit your level, then wait for an upcoming model!

Not all NEW releases would fit everybody's needs/wants.

@razec

thanx for replying,
I m not a camera addict, but I like the cool finishing of icons and menu buttons. I m using 6120C and I like its 16M colored interface.
However I like G502's simple bar shape, and am thinking to buy it as well...

that test of display cuality don´t say anithing, because the cuality is subjetive,ex: the 6120 have 16M of colors, but the display sucks, but you can see the display of E61 and the SE sucks, for this reason, this point is only subjetive, the cuality depends of the people who uses it.

wherever, nokia rocks!!!

Who cares if it comes with Google maps installed or not, especially if there is no GPS receiver? You can just install it yourself unless you're too lazy or something. It's not hard.

@Aatif:

you won't know how good are SE's display unless you've used/tried one. SE produces one of the finest and best displays in the market. even GSMarena and Mobile-review commented on that ;)

Take a look at this: (it requires registration to view it btw...)

SE K770(262K) vs 6120c (16M)

The G502, which also comes with Google Maps, is Sony Ericsson's most affordable HSDPA enabled handset yet. The low-cost G502 has a full web browser a set of high-speed 3G features, including fast internet access, streaming and downloading of content, but no face-to-face video calling.The G502 uses network triangulation estimates for Google Map location finding, though it can be used with an optional GPS Enabler HGE-100 accessory for more accurate location finding.The G502 has an onboard music player, FM radio, 2-megapixel camera with picture blogging links, and features Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It supports Memory Stick Micro Card expansion as well as having 32MB of onboard memory.The G502 is expected to hit selected markets during the second quarter of 2008 and will be available in your choice of Champagne Black or Brilliant Hazel.
