Caution though, be sure to back up your contacts and files on found on your phone memory as it will be erased during the software update.

Don't buy it!!! Poor Fuctionality!
It's so time consuming to do a simple operation such as sending message or saving a number into contacts. It's because of Symbian OS. C510 is much better alternative.

At start up when there's no open apps, it would take time to open but what I do is I open all of the apps I use and don't close them anymore(7-10 apps).

Heya!
I've been planning to buy a Samsung U800 for weeks now when I stumbled over the G700. G700's touchscreen is a bonus, of course, but all these comments on lags are disheartening and I'm not really a fan of SE. Could anyone please help me decide?

suci, 02 Sep 2009i hve this phone..but i have problem in loading and bluetooth...my phone can't connect to the ... moreMine had no problem in bluetooth,
when i want to send a file, jusun choose send,
bluetooth, searching for device ... chose the pairing device, and voila ... thats it
Have u upgrade your firmware ?
or ..you may check it at nearest SECS

the only time my phone crash is when i try browsing map really fast in garmin xt, that/s it
to write SMS, MMS, taking picture , even playing some games,
it's quit fast.. not as fast as nokia, but not that annoying either....
fyi, i have Garmin XT, some games, Easy Drawing, and lot more APP and like i said, just garmin xt that crashed.. and that's because i browse the map too fast

bading, 31 Aug 2009its not laggy at all, very smartphone indisguise!for instance messaging takes a second to open..... very long.... but media is snappy!!!

Marlon, 31 Aug 2009is it true that there are fucntions of this g700 SE that is the same in black berry??? what ar... moreyes, g700 has blackberry mail and blackberry web found in the file manager menu, but you can only use it if its provided by your network provider, here in the philippines it is not provided by my network, so i can't use it at all.
