Maybe because you don't know how to make G700 little bit faster.. try turn off handwriting recognition and transition, use simple static small size theme ( do not use flash theme, close unused open application in task manager, do not full your storage. Hope it ...

zama, 04 Dec 2008very sexy & stylish, but not at all user friendly especially for a first timer with sony erics... moreto save battery life: use simple and small size themes ( do not use flash themes), set mobile network to GSM only, listen music in flight mode or music mode, do not take picture often, reduce LCD light.

Boy, 04 Dec 2008if you have that problem, u need to do the congulation Zone timing and restarting your G700 again..pls coment on the camera quality.........

very sexy & stylish, but not at all user friendly especially for a first timer with sony ericsson. low battery life & key pad detriorates fast. on the up side though, very good sound quality,large screen & perfect pictures.

This SE G700 manufactured in china is Sandy Brown (purchased from SE store). I do not see this clour mentioned anywhere. Is this the original handset?

Today I bought SE G700 and this is manufactured in China and assembled in Emirates (press *#06#, if the 7th and 8th digit are 02, then it is assembled in Emirates which is of bad quality). Could any one let me know if this is really SE product? If any one had same phone does it work well?

I must say this phone is quite good as a smartphone. Despite the size factor, still has the essentials such as documents, touchscreen, 3g, organizer. The media gallery is also nicely done. This my 51st phone by the way. my last unit was Motorola q8. I had to sell it cuz it has a problem with the keypad backlight.

Honestly,this phone cant be called as a smartph... moreYa, you're right, E71 or Xperia is much better, IF MONEY DOSN'T MATTER....
With one E71 price we can Get two G700
With one Xperia price we can get four G700
Yes I agree its slow, I had it too, But I belives in same price range, G700 is a wise choice to buy..
