Got this phone two weeks ago. My first Symbian experience. Previous phones: T610, W810, K810. The touch screen is a nice feature that I found very useful and very well implemented (but it can't compete with the iPod Touch/iPhone). I set it up for T9 predictive text, so I am rarely having to use the stylus. I find the user interface very slow by comparison to my previous SE phones. Haven't found a way to turn off 3G to save battery. Also, haven't yet found a way to transfer photos from the phone to iPhoto (Mac). So basically it's an OK phone, but I'm not too thrilled with it so far.
got a pretty dam good review from smape.com.. was some-what suprised
gr8 technology at amazing price ..... sony ericsson is the best
Even the price is around Euro 350++, package included BT and stereo handset, still not the best selection phone to buy.
agree with gas! battery life no good, processor slow and software unstable at all. Photo quality bad! 1All buyer become white mouse for their research purpose! We pay for their research! Oh my god!
Worst phone I ever had…slow, 3 band no good in US...at least not in Chicago area…Freezes frequently, had 1 for Asian market and EU market …same problem on both. Great features, if you have nerves to wait until they open…contact list super slow…have them both for 1 month already and I will have to return. To bad, great design, and previous reviews.
Function, spec and Price compare with N82 is equal...but G900 no GPS, no flash only hv photo light, extended memory until 4GB only, received complain the software slow, no chinese language supported (hv to send it back to upgrade), screen resolution and color not sharp, camera quality is worst compare with N82, night contrast no good, sharpness no good and etc...better take consideration with this issue.
I'm thinking to buy G900, but need to know more about the performance and reliable of it.
2.5 days now with my G900 and i'm still very happy .. only 2 concerns, camera and battery life..
my previous k750 has a better picture quality and battery last for almost one day, which i'm hopping to be improved after the first 3 discharges/overnight-charges..
also, check these:
hello! got my g900 2 hours ago! hehehe! both using g900 and w960i!
all I can say is wow!!!!!!
both of them is the best! hehehe!
recommend this phone!
angtan, 30 Jul 2008I recently bought a g900, find it little slow in accessing its application, for example, when ... moreYES, there is a speed boost application intended to speed up the contacts and messaging application. try to google it or search for it at imserba.com
great specs, but based on hands-on experience, irritatingly (though not unbearable)slow. i'll wait for the w902, it's not touchscreen but it's got all the stuff I need, with lightning-fast animated interface that made me love SE in the first place. no post-it app? its still got notes. No doc viewer and wi-fi? both are better on my laptop+psp.
