does this phone slow down (takes a long time to read) when using a 8GB card? especially when it gets filled up?
decided not to buy this phone.. quite expensive & something wrong w/the casing .. not quite sure! got this feeling that it breaks easily when it drops! just decided to buy SE P1i .. & i am SATISFIED!
I've always been a samsung fan but after seeing the G700 & G900, I'm thinking to switching but...with the OMNIAi900, I really cant decide now. Any difference between these 3 phones? Just want to get something worth the money & can last (cuz I only change phone every 2 or 3 year)
gsmarena please do a loudness test!

cool....
a little wait for it is ok.... din expect a symbian fone to be lightning speed anyway... seen a lot of smartfone a bit slow on that...
3.2 mpx is more than enough anyway...
looks like its gonna be my next fone.... since my good old trusty w800 is dead....
1 more question.... how is the legibility under sunlight? as most "colourful" lcd is useless under sunlight.
thnx again...
G900 is a very sleek and nice phone.
But if you're getting it, I'll suggest you consider before getting cause most of the negative comments are valid.
-Bad camera, indoors [Always kinda dimmed even with flash]
-Slow processor [Outdated but then if you leave the applications running in the task manager, it eventually gets A LOT faster; almost instant, but it sucks more battery life]
-Weak battery life [Its not really stable IMHO. But then, if you want more outta it and don't mind the slowness, you can turn off 3G; Settings-> Connectivity-> Mobile Networks-> More-> GSM/3GNetwork -> GSM only, the background programs on your task manager (top right), lower the brightness and also less touch screen.]
-Superb crystal clear speaker [Better than Walkman series IMHO]
-Ergonomically friendly especially for heavy text users.
Just my 2cents worth after meddling with it for a full week. ^^

don't blame you :P
Though don't cling your hopes on quality 8mp pictures from it, mobile phones just can't make shots the way a digital camera will...
What bothers me about the C905 is the thickness...I never liked the bricky n95, i'm not going to like the c905.
but its a matter of opinion

-A really cool feature to have on the phone, great for professional looking shots.
2. wifi connection
-Excellent
3. camera quality
-Bad if you want 5mp shots, good/great when you resize a 5mp to 3mp or less
4. is it finger print magnet
-Not at all, gotta love matt finish
5. the over all ergonomic
-its small, for a smart phone, but slightly (really slightly) larger than your average phone.
I have to point out, you've mentioned you like to sms, in which case you must look at the time it takes to open a message (sometimes on the slow side)
My opinion: Go for it, the first decent looking Wi-Fi phone that doesn't look as if its meant for business people. But have a look at it in the shops first.
The G900 and its sibling, G700, represent a new kind of Sony Ericsson smart phone products, that don’t look or feel like a smart phone, yet perform and deliver as one would expect a smart phone to do.

here a user comment...The finest offering from sony ericsson. A smartphone that doesn't intimidate, very user-friendly. And has a right price tag. Good one SE.
dont loose too much sleep over it mstl
there are more things to life ok?
you seem quite comfortable repeating yourself so i will follow suit....
'G900 is not an ultimate cameraphone, rather taking the role of a very versatile smartphone with all-embracing functionality and a touchscreen for a chief selling point. If you try to look at it from this position, you get a very balanced solution sold at a very reasonable price. The quality of touchscreen implementation in G900 (as well as G700) is worthy of admiration – the very case where the conventional controls are complemented by the touch functions, yet not duplicated or entirely replaced. Previous UIQ models were known to alienate parts of the audience due to a total lack of conventional navigation buttons, single-handed operation combined with all-touch interface resulted in very low ergonomics and in fact quite unsatisfactory. This problem is now gone with G700 and G900 models'.
