Does this phone has pictbridge.Thks.
hello..g900 gt any new software to install ..g900 can support gps ? if who know replay my question thx...give the web site oso
If there isnt sufficient flash/lights, picture quality sucks. I just got a set from Singtel yesterday and it started lagging after a while. Please do not expect too much from this 5mbs camera phone.
Unable to set up customised profile.
Still trying to get used to the phone.
Does this phone really have Wi-Fi? How does it work? Does it just basically connect to your router or LAN? Does it count as data-transfer in my phone bill?
yo, g900 users....
got sum questions here...
how is the touch focus?
battery life 4 heavy user?
this is my first post to GSM ARENA (ive been reading for a while especially this thread)
I got the G900 today FINALLY!
its a very nice phone, the build quality you feel in your hand is excellent. seems to have a decent battery life too as ive been playin on it all day now and the battery was only half when i took it out of the box and its still not dead.
keys are lovelly to use
screen does get a bit fingerprinty but hey, it is a touchscreen after all
the speed of the phone is completely acceptable it does not lag in major places, its not the fastest phone ive ever used but its certainly a lot faster then my last nokia E65.
the wifi is great and so is the web browser.
the camera doesnt seem as good as other 5MP cameras ive seen but i dont really care about camera.
im mainly an internet, connectivity and organizer type of person and this phone fulfills all those needs effortlessly.
i know ive only had it a day so im gonna write a more in dept review later on.
i'd be happy to answer any questions from you guys, you can get me at
PS: i am irish and using the phone in ireland
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970just be patient.
he's taken a phone, and made a big fuss over it, it'll die down.
Each consecutive post is worse than the last. Its a lost argument, which I believe began when anticipation turned to scorn upon learning that the phone will not work in the US, its an anti-climax.
Though I'm curious as to why SE didn't make the so-called 850 Mhz, perhaps there isn;t a market for such phones in the US? Any American opinions?
˝Today I looked at the Sony G900. I did not even try to turn on the phone. The phone looked so cheap looking and cheap made. It is also so over priced. Good Lock Sony. I bought instead HTC Diamond. Great phone and now I see gsmarea announced Samsung i900. Nice looking phone.˝
now g900 Available
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970it's best to ignore such comments, judging by mstL's presence on this OPINION page, no-one is going to take his comments seriously anyway.
I've found the G900 is a very good replacement to my N70, now I'm just waiting for the price to go down since everything that gets imported here enjoys a massive price hike for the first month until things return to normal. (i aint paying no 450 euros)
Touchscreen isn't iPhone quality, but then again, thats why SE added the d-pad ;) . It's only slow when you open "new sms" (about a 4 second wait) but if you're buying a phone for it's browser (like me) rest assured...its excellent.
As someone said below... the G900 is a good substitute for the N-series, which I've found to have become much too big to be pocketable, (bar the n78, but i hate that keypad).
Hows that for a well-balanced opinion? :P
just IGNORE mstL, he'll leave when he's ready. I doubt anyone is going abandone buying the G900 because of his ever-present posts. No need for name-calling

I guess SE quality control is out to lunch.
Everything is OK, but a serious drawback. This phone has a very bad signal reception even compared to the cheapest models
What Os version it has got, UIQ 3.0 or later?
N wud n e one recommend this G900 instead of W960?
I've W960,i knw they both are quite similar interface wise, but apart from 8GB internal memory & walkman player, is the G900 superier in any other way?
Please reply someone

mstl...your really clutching at straws now huh?.LOL quoting other user comments now...so sad.. LOLLLLLLL
I have used two G900 and they were total disappointment for me. The menu system is bad and slow. The camera quality is much worst than an average 3mp camera in other Sony Ericsson phone.
