qman, 06 Jun 2008also the K800 and K790 look nice too but im not sure on compatibility so check that out firstdon't bother with a k800/k790, its too ugly
c902/c702 would be much more appealing
k850 would also be a good choice

lol, thanks guys. i'm like stessing out cuz i'm like so stuck on the G900 and its like heartbreaking that it probably won't work well here in the US.. SIGHHHHHH
i checked out the N82 is pretty decent actually, but im an ericsson girl. =[
Yes,the n82 is a great phone but the G900 seems to be a better choice for overall functionality so if ya want the better cam go for the N82, if u want a better overall phone go for the G900
check out the samsungs as they have great phones too.
the P1 won't work for USgirl because its also tri-band! get it together omg
and also, most samsung's won't work because most are triband as well
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hi there, never knew the fone won't work over there. try other SE phones like the walkman range. You do know that the G900 is a smart phone:) if smartphone is your thing, try the P1i; maybe cheaper than the G900. Try the LG Chocolate and the latest Samsung range. Do a comparison search on google and hopefully you will find what you looking for:) all the best

I do not like the old n82 looks, but the black much better.
The price of K850i less than N82 - since the article was published.
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You need a quad phone or US tri-band.
According to these SE fans the N82 (they making it in black now also) has good quality camera.
The price is about 450 USD.
I guess the N82 as they say is a good choice.
The K850i cheaper (360 USD) with less functions, but still ok phone.
Use the compare option of this website.
=[ you guys just broke the very depressing news to me that this phone won't work here in the US. boooo......i'm like clueless as to what phone i should get now..
personally, the nokias are huge to me. i need something that is decent sized and technology savy lol. any suggestions? PLEASE?
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Yes, may be! N82 can be also slow!
This does not make the G900 owner happier!
Not only SE makes huge mistakes.
There are dozens of phones out there.
Some of them has decent speed! And they are not released a week ago and they donīt cost 500USD.
G900 was perceived very slow and has an outdated CPU!
˝Letís begin with the bad news. G900 has the same 208 MHz CPU that P1i had and this hasnít been anything new even in the phone from a year ago. The RAM is 128 MB large, the exact size previous UIQ models had, so the question is righteous: where is the progress? Nokia is already at 369 MHz, Windows-based stuffs usually have 400 MHz, but there already are handsets with 524 MHz, or even 600 MHz processors.˝
Is this better?
˝Summary. I think that G900 is a fine, well-thought-out device. Itís a pity that is visible only on the design and the software, as the ancient CPU working under the hood is simply not a partner for making the potential users completely satisfied. Itís a smart device for calm, non-hasty people. It has everything that is required at this level, it just simply falls behind in speed.˝
THANK YOU for the correction.
Yes, the C902 has small screen and lousy camera etc. This one (G900) triband, lousy CPU and ....
Of course, there is no perfect phone but there is no excuse for all these mistakes!
You may disagree - go and enjoy your phone!
can anyone tell me how many times digital zoom is there in this phone? also is there anyone out there with this phone now ? cause i had the k850 , k810 , and the k550 , the k550 was a good phone i drop it in the the tiolet n washed it in the washing machine n it still worked. k810 was ok too but when i wanted something better n got the k850 n its not ... well it freezes a lot drops call n all sometimes my phone even freezes that i can't turn it off n when i remove battery n turn it on again it won't turn on at all n sony won't do anymore exchanges r repaired . so i'm wondering if anyone have this phone now n is there any problems with it
You are right - I did not copy the whole review!
I copied the negatives. Naturally there are some positives.
That is the reason I say if you can live with the negatives do ahead and buy this phone, buy 2-3-5 I do not care.
Summary of the negatives:
˝- Small screen
- Hard-to-touch keypad
- No standard slots
- Poor quality of photos ˝
I live the positives for the fans :)
For me the small screen is ridiculously bad decision - for this price!
I also miss the WIFI!
And of course, a 5MP camera is totally gimmick when the quality of the pictures so lousy!
i've read on the (mobile-review) site that the G900's camera is a auto focus-less camera. and here on the (gsmarena) i found it auto focus camera ?? which one is the true ?
Anonymous, 05 Jun 2008i got mine http://sntradersonline.com/phone_details.php?product_id=snp772 and it is working in... morewow i feel sorry for you buying at sntraders...they are the most expensive online

Anonymous, 05 Jun 2008Summary of an in-depth review:
˝Summary. I think that G900 is a fine, well-thought-out... moreHeres a quote from SMAPE.com in comparision to the Nokia n82 to the SE g900 to be fair to all u people checkin out these sites for reviews, and I quote...'G900 seems to be a better option as long as the camera functionality / overall functionality ratio is concerned'...
funny how mstl leaves these quotes out huh?
