Finally a phone with a normal keypad, touchscreen, 5mp camera and wifi. this is the one right here. The only phone which suits my need currently is my P1i. Now i can look forward on changing it to the G900. AWESOME SE! AWESOME! X1 is cool to but the windows UI is too slow im sick of it. maybe they will make it better

At last something that seems to replace the old, good K750i. Let’s wait for some tests, but it looks like it will be my next cell phone after the before mentioned k750:)! BTW. it doesn't have GPS on-board - at least so it says the below posted G900 whitepaper – and that’s the only thing I’m already missing in this model.

This seems to be the phone I've been waiting for. I finally feel I can make a worthwhile upgrade from my well loved K750i. WiFi is the clincher. Well done SonyEricsson.

well, the specs shows that it has no contacts capability. What does this mean? We wont be able to store our contacts? Look like a pretty good phone. But wonder if it is good to use.

if we talk about the design, it looks similar to K610i. only 20fps video capability.

clint,

I think SE is not intentionally leaving out GSM 850, but its because they have a low user demand rate for that frequency.(business is business my friend, you can't make everyone happy at the same time)

Time and time again SE has proven that it takes its customers seriously.

I'm sure this issue will be taken into consideration in furture models, if it has become a persistent problem for the consumers in north america.

Here are the surprises that SE launched this time:

1-A WM powered SE phone.

2-A UIQ device with a navigation pad.

3-A 10.5 mm 5Mp phone !!!!!!!!

4-THE first 8Gb clamshell ever. And a serious looker 2.

4 surprises in a matter of hours.

-I can't help but say Bravo SE. All hands up for king of 2008.

(Do i hear someone say N96 ??? lol)

Is there a reason SE always leaves off GSM 850 on their Symbian phones? Would that not increase their North American sales or am I missing something? I would love either a G900 or a P1i but I'm afraid of not having a signal when traveling or at work.

Please don't release without an EDGE connectivity! P1 is failed because of an EDGE connectivity!
