Hi am looking for a new Sony Ericsson g900 seems to good who ever is use kindly advice how is this phone? Doest it worth to buy??

HarryGR, 25 Apr 2009Go to Sonyericsson.com, select g900, support, software downloads and download Update Service. ... morehey regarding on updating the software, on the last part of instruction wherein u have to press and hold the c button upon plugging the usb cable, nothing happened afterward. the display just went on blink for a half sec then gone. i just dont get it, i'd followed all the instruction bit by bit but no progress at all.

g700 or g900???
if we forget about the wifi i prefer to use g700. for its captured pictures the shot from g700 is more clearer bcoz it has 2 bulbs(flash) at the back unlike g900... i already used this both phones...but i have no problems at all...

Do not buy this phone. I bought it, but had to sell it. You will spend more time waiting for something to load than actually using it.

This phone has good OS and menu features. But the phone is really really slow. It crashes alot. SE really needs to improve on their fit and finish. If you are not a person on the rush and have to make alot of calls or you are very patient, this phone is good. My touchscreen doesn't work well because my case has cracked causing the touch screen to be displaced and I have to press hard sometimes to get it to touch.
I'm looking forward to other SE phones. But will definitely wait till end of the year to purchase one. Probably going to switch back to the Walkman series.

Anonymous, 06 May 2009Now that I have used this phone for one month, I believe that every one who says this is not a... moreyou should get this phone if you are a looking for a cheap business user phone. symbian softwares compensates for some of the features it lacks like even though it doesnt have any gps you can download google maps for it. there are softwares like nimbuzz to allow you to use skype and yahoo messengers. the notes function is very usefull for remebering stuff. and this phone can even sync to microsoft exchange where you can store your emails and the email calendar even syncs to the phone calendar. the only problem is the battery. moderate usage of this phone will only last for 2 days. heavy usage of wifi and mp3 will make it last only for 1 day. its your choice man.
