Hello would like to say it was an beautyfull model i had never seen .Just i bought it form cell shoppe.its design is woderfull and it very easy to carry with just light weight, its very to such a cell iam proud have it.
I recently purchased a J200i Sony Ericsson Fone for $99.00 brand new in the box, not hot as it was from a Vodafone shop who claimed it was locked to Vodafone, I have since found out differently, as it takes Telstra and Optus Sim cards, anybody who buys a pre-paid fone should wait about 4 weeks and then try ba different type of Sim card to check that it is or isn't locked to Claimed Network. This is definitely the loudest and clearest sounding fone I've ever owned (approx. 50 fones), it has heaps of regular features that are just that bit better than the others, other than the fact that MMS is not available, I can find no fault in this little wizard, the pictures can be adjusted thru contrast, until you get the exact feel that you want. My son has a T300 (Sony Ericsson) and I consider my fone to be miles ahead of his in simplicity, I know that sms's have a limited life, but that is so on most fones if you care to go into it, unless you pay mega-bucks, anyway they are only sms's and can be transferred onto the Calendar/Organizer, aTop little fone, especially for the price. One of the only fones that I know to have gone up in price since being released onto the market late last year (approx. 30% increase) and well worth it.
Basically I would like to share only one thing that is the memory, It's too low & also the battery timing is too short. Messages can n't be saved for a long time.
Thanks & Regards

Very goodlooking set with quality sound & display. But realy very poor battery and very very less memory.
Otherwise set is outstanding.
i really like the j200i but the thing i hate about it is the sms memomry...it can save messages in ur sim and set,but once u take out the sim,ur messages tat was saved on the set will be deleted.and tat is the only thing i hate about it..so if any1 knows how to solve this problem plzzz contact me...because i got really nice messages saved on my set and i cant take out the sim for few seconds...
Use the PSMPLAYER program to convert Mp3 and WAV files into .mmf ringtones. The voice sounds okay from the oddly shapped speaker but you can get about 9 or so seconds of voice in one ringtone, then transfer it via infrared. The phone only holds 8 or so polys so keepo an eye on the memory.
hye all! i want to say something this mob. its the worst mob i had use till today. it's just like big name & small things. it's a bundle of problem. please dont buy this piece.
i am gona buy that mobile just cuz of its memory and ird port
Hey, this phone met my requirement of a low-priced phone, but guess what! A few days after I bought it, when the screen was blank and I tried to awake it, the
"clock" was moving to another side of the screen at the same time, and it suddenly hang. It wasn't responsive to any touch (only the lamp went on) until I unplugged the battery for the first time. What a joke! Yeah, durability has been what I know of well about Sony Ericsson, though.
Hi Every one,
I using this handset before 2 month, Looks Nice, soundsystem is very nice, but his Battery back is very low, even many times mobiles hangs, No MMS,
hi all. j200 is a great basic phone, but the battery life is unacceptable indeed. 44 hours standby and 40 min talk. BST30 700mAh Li-polymer. bought from vodafone in australia. i am taking it back and will upgrade to a nokia. v
