you can't increase memory in K300. You need a more expensice phone, such as K750 for that.
To Mr Cool-guy,
Thanks for your tip.
Anyway, that is what I did the first time but it doesnt work.
But however I`ve got this program
- floAt`s Mobile Agent -
it works perfectly in Win98 with my K300.
To Ehsan, you copied my opinion.
suggest a softwareupdate to my phone k300
i want to increase its memoru too any option like more card slot or ic addon
Tell me about it, vodafone loaded so much junk onto this thing it is not funny. i hate the DRM !! i spent 30 bucks to get a tone that dosnt work. The unlimeted Video's make up for it though
what you have is a Vodafone-branded K300. There are also Orange, TIM etc -branded phones because these operators buy very big volumes from Sony Ericsson, Nokia etc and demand that they are branded. You can see these branded phones also from NOkia, Motorola etc - the operators are very powerful... Sometimes the user interface is also changed. Vodafone's interface is much more ugly than Sony Ericsson's in my opinion, but it is there own choice to demand to have it to their customers!
This is also why I say that the memory available for user is between 10-12 Mb. Sony Ericsson's K300i has 12 Mb, but sometimes the operators put is so much extra material/software/files that it steals some of this memory from the user.
ALL K300 support DRM. DRM means that you cannot copy copy-protected material. However you can copy all MP3s, games etc which are not copy-protected.
I won this phone in a chocolate competiton.
It came from VODAFONE !! instead of the qickshare bit down the bottom it has vodafone. there are lots of other things that vodfone have on there as well wich you CANT REMOVE !! if you want this phone dont get it on vodafone. It is a great phone but scratches very easily. The vodafone version also suports DRM ringtone meaning that they must be copy protected MP3'sn is there any way to stop this ???
download DCU-11 installation files and read instructions at:
Hi Mr Cool-guy,
Ive K300i. A DCU-11. Pc with Win98.
I can send files to the phone with a third party program but How to Send files like pictures or sounds to the pc?.
What I could find is program that supports win2000 and above.
Please, any ideas?
Its a kool and afforadable phone!!!
when you install a theme it overwrites the wallpaper. However, you can always overwrite the theme by installing the wallpaper again. Chose the picture you want as wallpaper > more > use > as wallpaper.
The number of photos that can be stored in normal VGA 640x480 mode depends on the quality of the pictures (dark pictures take less space). The photos are between 25-50kB each. It also depends if you store other games/videos etc. To begin with you have between 10-12 Mb free space depending on which operator you chose. If you just keep photos you can store between 200-400 pictures in the phone.
i am planning to buy a cam phone. i short listd k 300i. i wish to know how many photos can be stored - with out any mp3 files . ie using the maximum memory possible.
Help me!!! please!!!

check this page for help:
1. Insert the CD into the CD-Rom drive.
2. Insert the cable into the USB port of the PC.
3. For Windows®98 and Windows®2000, click “Next” until you can select “CD-ROM drives”. Then continue clicking “Next” until the “Finish” option appears. For Windows®ME, the Add Device Wizard will automatically search floppies and CD-ROMs for the drivers and install them. Simply click “Finish”. This information is also available on the CD sleeve.
NOTE: The phone does not have to be connected during installation.
