I bought K300i last week and all I want to say is that it is a great set with lots and lots of features...yet its cheap in price!!!

i bought a taiwan version k300i.. i wan 2 change version.. can o not? where can..?? pls tell me.. emergency.. change 2 m'sia version..

I've had this phone for two weeks, and so far it's pretty cool :-). Before I bought it, I read a million different reviews, and I began to doubt whether buying this phone is a good idea. Now, I have no doubts - I did the right thing. It has everything I need - MP3 ringtones (what a great feature!), camera (not the best, but after all, the K300 is a phone, not a camera) and everything else you can find in a phone. It doesn't have Bluetooth, which could be a problem for some people, but if you want to transfer files to your cell phone from your PC and vice versa, you can use a USB Data Cable. It works perfectly! The biggest disadvantage is the memory - only 12 Mb (some of it is taken by the predefined items). Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10 :-)

It´s a nice cell but i tried everything to sync it with my PC through IRDA but i couldn´t manage to tranfer any type of files from cell to pc. I get the messagen "This Operating system uses IRsockets. All Ircomm will be deactivated!" I Use WinXP SP2.

I bought a new sony-erricsson handset model K300.
The performance , Design and price of K300 is very good.But the talking time is very short(about 2:30').Maybe the reson is handset's battery maded in china.

K500.K300 screen is smaller den k500 n it screen is not very clear under the sun,n if the polyphonic or mp3 is loud,you should think dat would it annoying ppl?coz sumtimes when i listen mp3 with louder i scold by ppl... damn them... =(

hey mikel thankz..but the seller advise me to take k300 coz its newer model..n he said while playing the mp3 o poly songs it is louder than k500 n k508..is it true? now i having nokia 6670..i juz want extra pone coz im holding 2 sim cards... the price of k300 is $500 n k500 is $550. which want shall i choose?

The K500i is by far the better of the 3, though it does cost the most. K300i has a decent camera, quite clear but small screen lets it down. K508 is close to the K500i but the camera isnt as good in my mind as far as i have seen. Though i would go with either K500i or K508.

In installed file manager, enabled IR port on mt K300i. When transfering files I get "access denied". Any suggestions..?

I have recently bought this phone and I am plesently suprised about it. It is good looking sufficient features (VGA camera, video capture, IrDA, MP3 player, Music DJ), nice memory (though not enough for more than 6 MP3 songs) and small and light. It is affordable (€89) making it a brilliant little phone with plenty of features for a good price.
I would greatly recomend this phone to anyone! (young or old) but I would add that if u have a bit more money in your pocket I would consider getting the Sony Ericsson K500 or even the K700 if your pocket can strech as these 2 phones are some of the best phones around at the moment.

i hv se k500i & one of my friends hv se k300i.great diff in screen resolution.same videos(transfered via IR)seems dull on k300i good on k500i.

i have just got this set ..but iam very regret to say that it is totaly a bogus set ..set has no control for brightness and contrast...the picture quality is so bad...sony ericsson should immediately take a serious notice about that.. i also request s.e to reply me here about this fault.. iam so disappointed...

purchased after inspiring but disopointed. Because color of display , Its brightness make all images dull and foggy. There is no option to control brightness and contrast of display.Do not Know that it is same for whole lot or only in the set i have purchase.Resale is open. Any one can guide what should be done?

if you have this budget then you have options to buy K500i or LG G1800, but compare these two first,, LG is fat, has no infra red & no camera and have huge space round about 64mb, on the other hand, SE is sleek and smart phone, has good quality camera, infra red and 12mb of memory.. & there are lots of lots or sites that support SE themes, games, appls and so on..

i'm from malaysia!! it is good... unfortunately, its screen is STN not TFT.. if TFT better.. and then, memory is less.. one of mp3 ringtone hav to 2.++Mb already.. no enough.. just only hav 12mb.. if the tone is loud, it will going not too clear.. no FM.. another is bluetooth. but i just bought it.. in RM530.. it is very cheap.. i'm going to upgrade it.. change its version to malaysia version.. and upgrade its Mb to more then before.. i think that all i wan 2 talk..
