I also have a k508i phone. Recently, I buy an infrared cable and I can transfer to and from my handset easily. My infrared device is MA 660, a device produced by mobile action company and this device supports k508i, so we can use it. However, u need to download the latest software from their website www.mobileaction.com so that we can transfer data from handset to pc. Thanks

i have se k500i handset & RS-232 cable DRS-11 data cable.i can easily upload or download pictures,sounds(mp3,wav,midi),& videos to my set & pc.

Does any1 know how to remove the virgin logo across the top??? when you got a pic up it goes across the eyes and its annoying.
Please help. still waiting for data cable. in the post.

-25 minutes of continuos video record(only if memory is free and at low quality);
-over 1000 pictures (on low quality and with free memory);

can anyone help me with my k500i?I want to put some games from my pc to my cell phone, and with the usb cable's software is not enough, as it is for the pictures&stuff.Do I need another software, to make them java aplications for my phone?please contact me by email if you can help me

i m hving this mobile from last 2 months n this mbile is great.....its look best in silver n black ..... its very good because it play vedio songs as well as audio...in such a low $$$$ well i hvt seened any errors yet..... i do nt like the sound of the carmer..... if this mobile hv a card slot also than this mobile rules

to "Silent" the shutter sound, call any free-number (eg. your service operator hotline), make sure the line is thru', goto camera function, and take pics.

ma660 adapter requires windows xp with sp2.I had the same problem.Now it's ok, but still does't work with the software from the cd.

tried ma660 ir adaptor. neither xp nor win 98 recognize the adaptor. win 98 recognized it once but afterwards didnt. any advice. any site
on the net for getting the ma660 device driver.

Hello can any one help???? I tried conecting the infrared to another phone and it wouldnt connect it says sending pic via infa red failed. I'm at a lose. Ordered a data cable today hope its the right one.

I use MA-660 infrared adapter and it works well. I can transfer data from pc to phone or the opposite. It works not for K500 only, but also some latest phones that use infrared (The other types of Sony Ericsson, Nokia,Siemens,etc.).
