I just discovered this website months after i used my K700i.
Is not really a super phone or the best obviously, but compared to the price at this range, I would say, this is the best piece u would ever imagined of.
The memory is only a issue if u r expecting this as good as mp3 player or the pda. A phone is still a phone. Perhaps if that's the case some people r hoping for...MULTI-TASKS, I don't think there is any phone that can match such requirement at a super quality speaking.
One thing that bothers me about this phone is the blue tooth device. I am having lots of problems when trying to connect it to my computer. Maybe I installed the cd or forgot some settings perhaps?

Hi, I got a question. Don't you have a kind of portable bluetooth memory device ? So when your k700i is full, you can send some files to that device.

PAL, you can activate the light just pressing the key "5" in the camera mode. But must remember that SE does not says that this Light is a "FLASH", at least here in Brazil... but only a light to help in dark.

Hi to all. I've bought a K700 about 3 months ago and I'm very satisfied. I always read about the low memory and the battery time, but like sksky says, cell phones are made to calling people, but there are a few things that I do to optimize de memory. Firstable, when I send a MP3 to phone, the file must be reencoded to a small bitrate, A regular mp3 have 128kbs, so, if you reencode to 56 or 48kbs, a mp3 with size about 4Mb and 128kbs after reencoed gets only 1,5 ou 2Mb and the sound still good and u can send much more music to the phone. With videos I do the same. About battery, all the new models of cell phones have problem with it, it seems that the Brands made new models with a lots of tech innovations but they don't made new batterys that supports those new features... But the battery of my K700 is good, i have to recharge each 2 days, but I use the player and radio a lots of times a day. Conclusion: K700 is a good cell phone.

The light (or flash as you call it) can be activated while in camera mode - clic "More" and activate the "Light" entry of that menu.

true that skysky, how the hell did U(Rocky D) fill up the memory, I have about 20 pic and tons of ringtones and still have about 41mb remaining... so i dont know how the heck u filled it up and ya mp3 player i own one so i use that instead. Nowadays almost everyone had an mp3 player sooo go buy one. Holy crap.

Remember all.. What is a phone for... calling people.. if you stop using the camera and just call people... the battery is good enough. and stop arguing about other phones having more memory and speed. If you want a good camera, get the sony t1, if you want a mp3 player, get an ipod.. a phone is to call people!

Please don't love the phone before you've used it. I've had the K700i for three months now and I've been crying since I got it. Battery is WEAK. Memory 41MB for music and video's. What about contact and messages??? I've had to delete messages on New Year since my brand new SE could not accept more msg's. Mmmm. I've since temp swopped with a friends 6230 and I seem more satisfied. Yes, the SE's graphics are better and the software is faster but how practical can it be if I can't hear when there's even the slightest noise around me and I cannot call whomever I want, whenever I want because there's no space on the phone to hold their numbers??? I think the fact is that for a social user this phone is gr8 and probably the best thing since sliced bread but for the business user it's a huge disappointment!

I love sony erricsson K700, it's got everything I need in a phone. It's just so unfortunate that it's expensive and it's hard to get it the part of the world I'm living (AFRICA). I think these issues are need to be address, 'cos, I'm dying to have one.

hey i just brought a K700i today and its awesome cool,Nokia 6230 is good too but the seller tell me dat K700i is better,but i still gonna wait for 6 hours coz i need to recharge the brand new battery.COOL!!!

Oh, I forgot, there must be a reason why the phone is more expensive too...I don't think they rip you of by £50 more to have the same features..
so N6230 must be better

yup this fone is quite fast compare to 6600,that fone is damn slow.this fone has many great features on it and u should know about it.Beside the mp3 is really great and of coz this fone is shared memory,not enough for ppl who download many mp.
