i use infrared to connect my hp to pc.. b4 tat u hav to install da software.. da software is given along wif da hp..i dun hav bluetooth adapter n USB cable...so i cant help u abt tat...sorry ya...

Just bought a d500 and sad to say it pales into comparison next to my old k700i!!!! Still the best phone on the market by miles!!! well done sony!

to alberto,
go to connectivity, bluetooth, my device, add new device. they will auto detect phone with bluetooth capabilities. then the password thingy will appear, then type in eg: 1234. then the other phone will pop up a msg asking the password. just type the same 1234 n done, u can send/receive files from other phone!

at first i also hv da same problem wif u..but after i type in my sim card passcode then i can access my bluetooth..try it out....but i also not sure will it work...cos i not really expert in this

umar, you can convert mp3 files down to a mere 32 kbps, that's less than 1 mb for a standard 3 minute song, the quality will suffer but in a phone speaker, you wouldn't mind having the sound not like from a stereo system right? a good program would be sound forge, got mine from download.com, its user friendly and very flexible with song formats like mp3. Don't use wav, it's quite big in terms of file size.

it seems that a lot of ppl is keeping on complain that da battery life is bad but for mine is not da case....i bought it in kl,malaysia n da battery life is satisfactory for me.....a fully charged battery can last for 2 1/2 days n having bluetooth on several hours.....for me da battery life is quite reasonable for a superb display here...
i wanna know besides www.zedge.no n esato.com do anyone know any website that i can download nice themes for my phone....thanks

if its not a theme then im not too sure what it is you have on there or how to get rid of it. if you're on a diff network call them and ask whats going on

The phone's whole display is O2 and i have links to o2 services but I am on a different network and want to see the original sony ericsson display! How do I change it?

i recently got the nokia 6260 and i SENT IT BACK - it is crap: it is too big, uncomfortable to write messages etc I swapped it for the sony ericsson K700i and it is the best phone - it has everything on it that a phone should have none of the other crap that the 6260 has that it doesnt even need.
GO FOR THE K700i!
